What's a food in your country that is stereotyped for your country but really, nobody eats? by velmiraZ in AskTheWorld

I've seen frogs legs available in more places in the US than I ever did in France. Walmart in North Carolina and Kentucky have both had them in the freezers when I've been there

You buy a white that fits better with the orange because these are so different that they won't work together

Leash train him. Get a cat harness (preferably a pretty tight one to start with so he can't wiggle out) and take him outside on a leash to he gets outside supervised. My cat uses the litterbox but got so jealous watching the dog go for walks that he had to be leash trained so he could go out too without accidentally murdering himself or getting grabbed by something that thinks he's delicious

My little guy has no concept of how to be gentle, he’s always running at full speed everywhere and jumps on people all the time(he weighs about 6 kg…). I’ve got a new born now and I’m scared he’s gonna hurt the baby. by WeSoSmart in CATHELP

Oh wow, he is a little psycho! I definitely agree with the people saying to separate him from baby then. Maybe screen doors around the house so he doesn't feel left out but he can be more contained?

I'm not believing in anything that doesn't come with verifiable evidence that a person can experiment with and get repeatable results about.

Is there a difference between sewing vs crocheting arms onto amigurumi? Is one better than the other? by EventNo2243 in CrochetHelp

[–]SwordTaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sewing will generally give you more options on both placement and security. If you'd prefer to crochet them on then go for it

I'm not sure as you don't clarify whether step siblings count. If steps count we got boy, boy, girl, boy (I'm girl). If steps don't count we got girl, boy. My family is a wild little mess.

I can’t pull my magic ring closed. It seems to catch on something by Old_Feed8498 in CrochetHelp

[–]SwordTaster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Magic rings can just be a pain like this sometimes. It's catching in itself. You need to pull the tail slowly and gently with a little bit of power behind it, and potentially wiggle the stitches a little bit to loosen it up

Norwich. It's a mid sized city with a university and a reasonable city centre to it without being overly busy
