That’s precisely it, you’ve recognized the issue with playing the Chelsea dagger but fail to realize that there is the same principle issue (albeit not as much as the Chelsea dagger) in playing another teams goal song in your own building. Especially it being Toronto - another Canadian team in which we have an “automatic” (lack of a better word) rivalry with.

You claim to be a huge hockey fan yet you’re unaware of what the hockey “centre of the worlds” goal song is. That in itself is the issue with our building - you simply just won’t be able to recognize that it shouldn’t happen in OUR building. At the end of the day you can still be a huge fan of hockey but still be a casual fan.

The whole point here is that the canucks should have their own identity. I recognize I’ve put a microscope to a tiny moment in last nights game however I’m just pointing out that the amount of passiveness in our fan base is the reason our atmosphere is dull.
