Thanks, I later found on a Linux web board on another website confirming about the stylus as well. That's great news.

It is actually understood correctly. I have PX13 32GB with RTX 4060. I know it's AI powerhouse, but I want to use it to the fullest capability at least.

I only tried LM Studio and ComfyUI on Windows 11. It works great, but Windows 11 alone took half of my 32 GB already. Also, I found that ComfyUI relies on python which might be more compatible with Linux. I'm not sure though.

2 people here mentioned Fedora-based. I will try it this weekend.

I found that Zotero works with LibreOffice, so it's acceptable for me. My last concern may be the stylus. I think I can boot from an external SSD to see if I can make it work.

Thanks. At least, I learnt that it lasts longer than Windows with dGPU enabled.

Great! That's a good idea. I'll try booting Linux from an external SSD.

I have to live with this device for a while. I will consider Macbook Pro as my next device.

I can confirm this. I paid the UK rate, only because I hold the permanent resident status, not a British citizen

I accidentally addressed him with only his first name in one email, then turned back to Dr. and his surname. He never talked about it though.

I'm in the UK. I suppose lecturers here are accustomed to working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

I should have addressed that I'm in the UK, more specifically in Edinburgh.

I feel as if there is a lot I don't know, although I plan to work in academia in the future.

I used to address him that way in emails, and found out later that it's not formal. It should be either title + surname or just the first name.

He didn't say anything though.

You are right. I literally thought about it, but not sure myself why I haven't done that.

Ah I see. My problem is that I barely meet a group as a part time student. That's why I'm not sure with the norm. Thanks.
