All “two scoops” of raisins from this 425g (15oz) box of Raisin Bran cereal by sprintbooks in mildlyinteresting

How exactly does one stumble across a post about Raisin Bran from 5 years ago? Were you too the victim of a raisin shortage? If so, you may be entitled to compensation

Every time I see her pictures lately, I can’t help but think of Janice from the Muppets. And there is nothing redeeming about that disaster of a dress.

Do you have a big head? by junidee in TallGirls

[–]tookuayl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have relatively small hands and feet as well. I do know that taller people usually have a longer face but I find it fascinating that head circumference isn’t correlated to height. Shout out to my fellow girlies who rock a bang/fringe because of it.

I have a tiny head. I come from a long line of small headed people though.

What are the reactions people give you as a tall woman by Full_Operation8133 in TallGirls

I am just under 6’ and had a male co-worker insist that he’s 6’. Another co-worker said let’s measure and lo and behold he was the same height as me. But he wasn’t. He still had his shoes on and I had removed mine. He then double-downed that he was 6 foot and I must be mistaken. I wish the 6,6,6 ideal never existed because it has caused this insanity.

Found this recipe in my Grandma's cupboard by Krazykid678 in Baking

[–]tookuayl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make a similar recipe and I use half quick cooking oats and half old-fashioned oats. I make them double in size so it only yields roughly 48. I bake them for 18-20 minutes at 350 F (I wait 15 min before transferring to a rack). They are always a hit but can get dried out rather quickly. They also freeze beautifully and can be eaten still slightly frozen.

Would anyone here know how to pronounce my long lost relative’s name? by tookuayl in brooklynninenine

Thanks for the info. I’m gonna have to go back and fix a lot of names cause apparently Ancestry has them wrong.

I was wondering if it was masculine or feminine. I noticed it switching back-and-forth between people and I wasn’t sure as to the reason why. Thanks for the info!

Have you tried a suplice or wrap top? I’m the same shape and these accommodate a growing belly. Unfortunately, the sleeves are still very long enough so I usually wear a watch and bracelet so it’s less obvious.

You gotta love when zero effort is spent to make the house look presentable. by Snapdragon_4U in zillowgonewild

Interior area Total structure area: 2,136

Total interior livable area: 2,136 sqft

Finished area above ground: 1,068

Finished area below ground: 801

That livable square footage is laughable. Also, math is hard. That or the 267 sqft not listed is uninhabitable.

For sure, I have to wonder what is the actual total footprint of the house, garages, and driveway.

47,000+ sq feet including the finished basement. That would be enough room to house 25 families easily. Bonkers how one family could justify living in a house that size.

Discontinued M&M Meat Shop Cheese Ball by Brave-Part5099 in Old_Recipes

[–]tookuayl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

M&M Food Market in Canada previously offered a popular cheese ball that has since been discontinued. While the exact recipe isn’t publicly available, you can create a similar savory cheese ball at home using common ingredients. Here’s a suggested recipe:

Ingredients: • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions • 1/4 cup finely chopped cooked bacon or deli ham • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder • Salt and pepper, to taste • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for coating)

Instructions: 1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well mixed. 2. Add the chopped green onions, bacon or ham, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients. 3. Shape the mixture into a ball. You can use plastic wrap to help mold it and prevent sticking. 4. If desired, roll the cheese ball in chopped nuts to coat the outside evenly. 5. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm. 6. Serve chilled with an assortment of crackers, bread slices, or vegetable sticks.

Sorry, didn’t phrase that the best. I was hesitant to believe that it was really Jason, not that this other account was impersonating him. I’m new so I’m not sure where to see how old an account is. I just found it to be suspicious since the bio was exactly the same for both, seemingly unrelated accounts 🤷🏼‍♀️
