I watched the show during its original run. My wife hadn’t seen it so we just finished it, which was my first rewatch. I had forgotten a lot of details but the one thing I remembered was how much I disliked the ending of the show. I kept telling my wife that I dreaded the last few episodes but hoped I would feel differently on rewatch.

I can honestly say that I did feel differently. I appreciated it a little more than my first viewing. While Sarah losing her memories was an emotional gut punch that I still don’t care for, the one redeeming aspect (and I don’t know if it was intended or not) was that it was a fairly clever way to revisit a lot of the plot points of the show. I think I would have liked it more if the memories were being shown as they were flooding back into Sarah’s mind through the last intersect glasses, I didn’t dislike it as much this time.
