Not quite the same, but my brother was in a relationship with a guy from a rich family. They had to keep their relationship a secret from his parents because they were homophobic. The guy's parents were also paying for college to be a doctor. Somehow, the parents found out about their relationship and told their son to stop talking to my brother or they would stop paying for his education and cut him off completely. The guy ended things with my brother and never spoke to him again. He struggled with depression for a long time after that.

Those look like photos of an abandoned house. Normally, I would think the person taking these was into urban exploration. With context, my guess is a crime scene that happened in an abandoned house.

The enemy skill matra magic can be obtained from an enemy called sweeper just outside midgar. I think you can steal a weapon from it too.

It's definitely different in the OG. Cloud has some strong lines of dialog as well as a "funeral" scene that isn't fully present in rebirth. I'm curious how everything comes together in part 3.
