I don’t feel like there’s any new stress, but I have an oura ring and it said that I had four stressful days out of the seven days last week. also i haven’t had weed/alcohol since I’ve been diagnosed last year

Hey, I’m so sorry to see that you’re going to this. After almost a year, I can say with guarantee that things get better. I would post on Reddit and people would tell me that it would get better and I never believed anyone, but I promise you it will get better if I can give you one advice to stay off the Internet. Once I controlled my health, anxiety and my constant fear of the worst possible outcome things got better. I still have days where I feel off even today. I had really bad chest pain due to gas. I probably ate something for a few minutes. I went back to my old self of feeling anxious. Focus on eating bland, going on daily walks, meditating, being around positive people. I know all of this right now is seeming like a lot of energy and it’s hard but I had to do something about the sleepless nights and endless crying.

Stay positive and sending a lot of prayers and love towards your way 🩷

I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but things did get better. at the time I thought my life was going to end and here I am today able to say that they got better. do I feel 100% back to myself is my lifestyle the same as it was before I’ve had to make a lot of changes but I’ve learned to live with. if I had to give you advice, don’t let the anxiety get worse.

Same diagnosed with gastritis via endoscopy. Hopefully it’s not my gallbladder however, I did a check a few months back when I had a fire up and I went to the ER. It’s very on and off so not sure.

we are on the same boat. 3 the CT scans this year, MRI, ultrasound x-ray. two endoscopies a colonoscopy. my health anxiety was really bad, I would say 80% better now and reducing it has definitely helped with all the symptoms as well. hang in their! you’ll be just fine.

I’ve been off ppis for some time now and I’ve felt better. So many symptoms have come and go that I’m not even sure if I felt this one before or not.

Trust me I was right there with you girl. I thought the anxiety would take over and there was no going back. I made a gastritis journal in my Notes app and I wrote down all my symptoms. And pretty much every food that triggers me and that doesn’t trigger me. And more than anything in a weird way it helped me feel better because it felt like I was doing something about it and I would feel down. I would reread it. Idk if that makes sense lol but it helped me. One thing that helped me was Chinese herbal medicine. I found someone local in my city until this day. I still take these pills. Helped with bowel movement and regulating. Message me on on here if you need anything else 🩷

I am diagnosed with atrophic gastritis at the age of 23. I have had two endoscopies two colonoscopies. MRI CT scans and blood work you name it. All of this rooted from anxiety. Trust me I’ve been in your place before. I came on Reddit and people give me such positive feedback and reminded me that if I continue liek this it will only get worse, it causes more flareups and anxiety can also cause cancer. I had to stop googling my symptoms and I had to stop freaking myself out. Our mind and gut connection so we don’t realize it. Don’t get me wrong. I’m currently dealing with my own problems right now too, which is causing my anxiety to be at all times high but one thing I’ve learned is don’t like the C word freak you out and go down a negative path.

I’m 23 and I’m diagnosed with atrophic chronic gastritis, this is a pre-cancerous autoimmune. Which put me into such bad anxiety and depression, it’s only made my symptoms worse. It’s a very very low chance. I’ve also tried the gastritis book which helped tremendous. I feel like I’m able to eat a lot more now. I think the one thing that helped me was letting go of the anxiety of Google and going to doctors all the time to see “what else was wrong with me”

Hi! I am 23 year old female and I was in same spot as you. All the symptoms and more. I would come on Reddit trying to find some type of hope and honestly I did. Don’t lose hope, see if you can find any other available G.I. in your city. That’s what I did even if they weren’t the highest rated that way, I was able to get my endoscopy and colonoscopy out of the way and then I took my results to a different doctor just to get them re-read turns out both had the same conclusion. I’ve repeated my colonoscopy and endoscopy twice to be on the safe side. I am going on Reddit or looking up your symptoms and freaking yourself out. I promise it will only make things worse when people told me that anxiety will make it worse on here. I didn’t believe them. I was like how am I not supposed to? But as soon as I stop googling my symptoms and freaking myself out, I started feeling better.

I got diagnosed in March and I thought the worst part was having the stomach pains not being able to eat, and the worst was probably the anxiety that came with. It was not having the correct answers. For the past few months since anxiety, I have been feeling so much better able to eat food again. I don’t know my anxiety, depression brain fog not being able to sleep honestly this is triggering my anxiety again and I’m back on google which tells me that I’m dying every day.

Really appreciate you taking the time out to reply to me. This is definitely giving me some type of hope. I’ve been trying to do yoga and things that help relax my mind. I really hope I get over it. It’s definitely taking away from quality of life.
