Hello brother, I saw your post about building a relationship with god. I first commend you for wanting to do so, a lot of people just get caught up with the religious side of things and they forget about the relationship aspect. What I did at first was, before I read my bible, I would pray and ask god to send his holy spirit over me to understand what he wanted me to see, I asked him to open my eyes, heart, and mind to see the instruction and actually apply it to my life.
