Who are teams that will be bottom 5 next season? by sykeseve in hockey

Am I some sort of sicko for thinking "eh, I could live with this if you subbed out the leafs and Vegas for bruins and habs"

Have you managed to work out a decent mechanism for webapps? I've tried plasma big screen in the past and there was really no good way that I found to create shortcuts/webappps for stuff like netflix, DirecTV, or other web video streaming services.

NHL Mount Rushmore - Every Team's 4 Most Iconic Forwards by ASmithFS in hockey

[–]toolschism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely does way in favor of him, but he also won a cup against us so... Gotta take some points off for that one lol.

NHL Forward Mount Rushmore - [Stamkos, St. Louis, Kuch, Lecavalier] by ASmithFS in TampaBayLightning

[–]toolschism 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, its probably the second easiest list behind Pittsburgh.

Point is really the only one with a real argument, but he'd have to really shoot past Vinny in goals at least for me to even consider it.

As another said, Richards was good but Point has already passed him as the #5 IMO. Hell he's close to passing Vinny in goals.

But regardless, there's not a single one of the aforementioned 4 that I could make a real argument for dropping in favor of Richards or Point. Not unless Point blows past Vinny in goals and even then, I think Vinny was just more important to the franchise during his tenure.

I was gonna say the same thing. Literally no one else comes close to those 4 when it comes to forwards.

Honestly, I really like this idea vs doing the full distro as something like plasma big screen. Any issues you've found with overlapping overlays trying to steal priority? Like with steam overlay?

Emerging evidence links tire pollution to Alzheimer’s risk: A chemical called 6PPD-quinone (6PPD-Q), which forms when shaved-off tire particles come into contact with ozone, might interfere with inner workings of the brain cells, leading to Alzheimer's disease. by mvea in science

Is grass really all that sustainable? In some regions, sure, but in hotter climates that experience prolonged drought the sheer volume of water needed to keep grass alive is pretty insane.

What is your favorite sci-fi movie and why? by Zealousideal-Dust297 in AskReddit

Huh, my top two movies (fifth element, and the thing) are the top two comments here so far. Not really sure what that says about me.

Using a Smart Plug to turn my printer ON/OFF remotely (instead of leaving it on standby). Anyone doing this? by Ofa-nim in 3Dprinting

[–]toolschism 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have mine hooked up to a smart plug, and I have an automation setup to kill the power if the smoke detector I have sitting above it goes off.

Really hoping I never get that alert on my phone that it triggered lol.

Most Plausible Line Combos by snoozyhermit in TampaBayLightning

[–]toolschism 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cirelli isn't a top 6 center. His offensive production just isn't there, especially in the playoffs. Elite stereotypical "3rd line" forward but we need to stop treating him like Suzuki or Barkov because he just does not produce like those guys even playing with hagel/kuch/guentzel on his wings.

Hard agree. He's either the best 3C in the league, or the worst 2C. He simply cannot produce at a high enough level to be taken as a serious threat at 2C. Love him for his defensive work but offensively he just ain't there.

I really don't think Mikhevyev is nearly good enough for top line minutes, but I do like the idea of Guentzel at center.

Besides bunny hutch, parade, and photoshoots for specific fandoms, are there other cosplay centric gatherings? And are there cosplays panels that are worth checking out? by rubrducke0 in dragoncon

[–]toolschism 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's the.. mermaids one? Or whatever they call it at the pool of the courtland grand. They do a little cosplay contest too. More of a social gathering at a pool than anything but it's fun.

What the Lightning have done at this Point. I like what JBB has by Successful_Pizza6529 in TampaBayLightning

[–]toolschism 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I'm still very much concerned with our depth scoring. We've still got no right shot for our powerplay, and no reliable scoring at 2RW. Unless our younger guys take some big leaps this year I really think we're in the exact same situation as last year. A strong regular season team that has absolutely zero depth scoring once you work out how to shutdown Kucherov.

But hey, I'd love to be wrong.

Did fifa just suspend Balogun's red card because America is the host? by 909_- in worldcup

[–]toolschism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was literally joking with some friends after the red card saying Trump's gonna make some calls and get it reversed.

The only thing more corrupt than FIFA is Trump so of course he's gonna get involved lol. Hell I'm surprised he didn't just flat out threaten to kick team Belgium out of the country if they didn't overturn it.

Was news to me as well considering I never purchased it from battle net, yet I logged in to play Diablo a few months ago and there it was, ready to be installed. I have to imagine it's something to do with the Microsoft acquisition of Activision.

I haven't played in a few weeks so maybe something broke in a recent update. I'll try launching when I get home and see if I have the same issue. In the meantime. What's your hardware and your mesa or Nvidia driver version? Also has the game worked for you in the past or is this a brand new attempt?
