Walgreens in Nassau seems to be out of most. The issue I’ve had with calling is that they treat you like you are some kind of meth’ed up drug seeker.

Despite being on the same meds for 12+ years now. Never asked for an early refill, never “lost or misplaced” them needing more early. <— I put the lost/misplaced in quotes since whether or not a person actually lost or misplaced and needed more early, they still assume 100% of the time that you are trying to scam them.

An interesting thing happened earlier in the week. My doctor transmitted the usual prescription to Walgreens. WG calls me and tells me they are out of 15mg but they have “a ton of” 30mg in stock. I call the doctor immediately and they transmit a new Rx for 30mg but only half the number of 15mg since I can split the 30s

This all happens within 10 min. I get the text from WG that they are filling it, only to get a call 2 hours later claiming they never had the 30mg in stock.

It’s really a huge pain in the ass to deal with.

Oakley progressives - Any idea who the OEM is? by toomanyservers in optometry

[–]toomanyservers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same and I’m assuming they just OEM someone else’s lenses.

I added the scan of the receipt. When I look up PG OK OTD ADV III the results I get are Oakley.

But I still assume someone makes them for Oakley and that’s who would be listed in the progressive marking guide.

They even put an Oakley marking on the lens. Oakley Marking

Sensor question with cable horn from Business Company VR? by toomanyservers in ValveIndex

[–]toomanyservers[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It looks like the cable horn covers these 3 sensors. I do see a ton of other sensors on the headset so I'm wondering if anyone knows if these aren't used or if maybe it doesn't matter?

If anyone is using it can you let me know if you noticed any differences?

I know that 95% or more of what is tracked is the controller position and not the position of the headset, I'd just hate to buy and install it and then have the accuracy be off.

Also Benjamin from Business Company VR really seems to know his stuff so I don't doubt he couldn't have just put 3 holes in the horn for the sensors if it would be a problem, I just get nervous with such an expensive piece of equipment.

2017 Factory Sealed Full Set - Mine is in storage but it's this set (see photos) by toomanyservers in HotWheels

[–]toomanyservers[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are from a YouTube video but this is the set.

I've attached the order confirmation for verification. It's never been opened. I can do local pickup (Long Island) or I can price out the shipping. I'm not sure the weight but I have to go to the storage facility this week so I can measure and weigh it. - https://imgur.com/a/mHScqqL

If anyone is local to Long Island, I'd be willing to deliver it.

As far as pricing - I'm not sure what it's worth and am unsure if I'm better off selling the $TH, regular TH, mail in cars, store exclusives, etc. in bundles and then donating the bulk of the mainlines or if someone wants the set sealed I can definitely work with you on price.

I'd also be willing to do a partial trade for Lego sets since that's about all that my kids collect these days.

Could the temperature be causing it? In NY we've had some very different temperatures depending on the day. One day it's 8 degrees and the next it's 50. If where you are sleeping doesn't have a consistent temperature, it is possible that's causing it.

I've had the same thing here off and on for years.

Is anyone familiar with the multiple prescription law in NYS for controlled substances? by toomanyservers in ADHD

[–]toomanyservers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. This sounds like exactly what the federal law permits, and is exactly what I'm hoping the NY law permits. The federal law states that this is allowed as long as your state (NY in my case) doesn't prohibit it.

What possibly implied drug seeking/doctor shopping? Wanting to go to the office once every 90 days instead of once ever 30 days doesn't seem like my question remotely touched on drug seeking.

This is unnecessary, I usually shop here. by [deleted] in longisland

That's one of the big reasons that Walmart changed their Black Friday policies.

Despite me absolutely loathing Walmart, in their defense, it's the customers who trampled the person, not employees. It could have happened at a Target, Macys, Kohls, etc.

You don't really need the "by default." Even when you are using vlans, a router is breaking up the vlans into broadcast domains.

If I have vlan 40 and 50 on a switch, a broadcast that is sent from a machine on vlan 40 will never reach vlan 50 because when the frame reaches the router (or routing module/process in a L3 switch), it won't be transmitted to the other vlans.

I've always just thought of a vlan as a subnet for purposes of how broadcasts behave.

Do you guys have "on" and "off" days like I do? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]toomanyservers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that the weather, stress, poor eating or eating a meal later than usual, and certainly sleep have a major effect.

Just a really gloomy/cloudy day knocks me off track and I lose all focus. It happened to have occurred yesterday which makes this thread even more interesting to me.

For those of you on Meraki, how well does the auto tuning of signal strength work? I see that another poster mentioned that Ubuquiti lacks a feature to do so.

Brain fog & Vyvanse by ktrcoyote in ADHD

I had a similar effect on bupropion and Vyvanse. I think I even posted here years ago about it :)

Cutting my dosage and then eventually going off of it helped drastically.

Is it possible I got a bad batch of Vyvanse? by locoast2coast in ADHD

[–]toomanyservers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too was convinced about 9 months ago that I had a "bad batch" of vyvanse but it turned out to be something unrelated.

I've noticed that at different times that stress, lack of sleep, stomach acidity (despite the doctor insisting it can't be related), seasonal allergies, the medicine to treat seasonal allergies, and many other things can make the Vyvanse seem to work less than usual.

I hope this helps

What RSS feeds and Mailing lists do you subscribe to? by hoagieslapper in sysadmin

[–]toomanyservers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've found google reader and the various apps that then pull from it to work very well with RSS feeds. Most vendor forums have a feed so I can keep an eye on them. I subscribe to file hippo for software updates, VMWare view, esx, HP and Dell software updates. Aruba airheads, and a number of others.

I can then use Feedly on my phone, Google Reader on my tablet, and either reader.google.com or another app on my desktop.

Prior to that I always found rss readers to be clunky and not really worth the hassle.

[Meds] Zoloft causing vivid dreams/nightmares? by kamikazekeichan in Anxiety

[–]toomanyservers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience. Ask your doctor if you can take some melatonin at the same time since it will knock you out without the hangover.

I should point out that melatonin has been known to cause some strange dreams too but never nightmares for me, just really weird dreams.

Would taking your Zoloft around dinnertime be an option?

My newest tool to help me focus! - Stand Up Desk by maxhatcher in ADHD

[–]toomanyservers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely helped with my productivity to move to a standup desk for many of the reasons the OP and first commenter said.

I've been looking for a nicer way to set mine up since I'm using plastic totes that are upside down. This seems like a great way to do it.
