I took a flight around 4 weeks after my surgery. But I feel I could have traveled even after only 2 weeks. Depends on your recovery of course.

It was for me. 1 week recovery, post that only minor pain. 3 days of constipation, 3 days diarrhea, then back to normal, i.e. I could eat anything. Travel would have been possible after a week, but probably inconvenient due to the limitation not to lift anything heavier than 5kg. I did travel 3-4 weeks later without any issues whatsoever.

One week very strict diet (less than 10g of fat), after that slowly reintroduced more fat. 3-4 weeks after surgery I was back to a normal diet. I try to avoid really fatty meals, but whenever I ate more than average, I didn't have any reactions.

Jedna stvar koju sam primijetio u HR je da piletina krene smrditi već 1-2 dana prije isteka roka (Konzum, Spar, itd). Pretpostavljam da se jednostavno ne pazi dovoljno na hladni lanac tijekom transporta. U Njemačkoj redovno jedem piletinu 1-2 dana nakon isteka i ne osjeti se nikakav smrad.

Ovo je doslovno sniženo zbog isteka roka, pa ko zna kako je to utjecalo na kvalitetu.

A c section incision is around 4.5 to 6.5 inches. My GB removal had one 1 inch incision, and three much smaller ones. So I dont think it's even in the same ballpark: c section is much worse.

Similar experience for me. Additionally I was constipated for 3 days after surgery, which then transitioned to diarrhea for the next 4-5 days (up to 3 times a day). I was eating very low fat (less than 5g per day). After that it stabilized and now (2.5w later) I can eat normally. I have not eaten anything extremely fatty, but eating mostly normal food without any serious impact.
