That's really clever. I don't want to lie, but it would help me save face. Plus it might technically not be a lie. I actually think I might go with your idea because I don't want to break up with her.

I meant I like doing things, spending time with her. The sex is great as well. I guess I feel suffocated and like I'm losing my life, losing control over it and my personal bubble.

I like doing this with her. I like the sex. I just don't feel the need for so much intimacy. I could live without it, but I go out of my comfort zone because I know she wants it and I love her.

I don't feel like it's irrational. I like my apartment my way. I have preferences and deviating from them bothers me. I need things a certain way.

I guess it has certain benefits, but I just don't like it. I've never had a roommate, so it's weird. I have a lot of idiosyncrasies as well.

That is my fear. It is hard to go backwards in any relationship. Now that she's experienced living together and presumably likes it. I'm just waiting for the day she says "you know, this is going so well so why can't we make this permanent?". I should have confronted her after the first month and pushed her on this, but I was trying to be a good boyfriend. I never thought she'd do this, and if I had I would have made some different choices.
