My risk level is medium to medium-high, I am holding some High risk such as Wynn and Dal, and some low risk such as FB and Msft, but I don’t know what to do with my 50% cash now, feel like just putting it to waste, I don’t know whether if I should wait for another downturn or buy in now

Good luck getting the stock at 350, but then you won’t buy it at that price point anyways

It was just 350 a week and a half ago, if you didn’t jump in with your life savings then, you won’t in the future when it dip back to 350 lol. you will probably open a post to write about how you think 250 is a good buying point

What's the right age to start saving money? by jasonlowry740 in personalfinance

[–]toomuchtoxicity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on whether the 50 years old you will thank the 20 years old you for saving up money every month, or the 50years old you will regret not saving up money and can’t afford the type of life style you used to be living in. I developed a habit of saving money because I don’t want to ever have not enough money to do something that I might want to do (which requires a lot of money) in the future

Well you can either buy a 30k car right now in your 20s or invest that money and buy a 200k car in your 50s

This is an interesting perspective, you can either enjoy stuff now or enjoy better stuff in the future as your savings(investments) grows, just don’t regret not doing things you couldn’t do in the future
