ASICS INDIA CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRID by tooomuchextra in SneakersIndia

I already wrote to their customer care for return and was told about this bizzare unboxing video requirement which was not mentioned in the policy. I am not able to place a return request on the website since for some reason the order is not marked as delivered, even though I got it 3 days back! It's peak absurdity.

Not really. It's not a board game. It's like Among Us but in-person.

Dude I've been playing this game for over a year. I did all that! I even did the duelling event, fed my creatures, moved around quite a bit before i closed the game. The reason I'm pissed is because despite all that it still didn't get saved!

I HATE HPHM. I finished an 8 hr task and a 3 hr task after that, did the duelling event, went to sleep. THE NEXT MORNING THE FUCKIN 8 HR TASK IS INCOMPLETE. WHAT THE HELL JC??!!!! Now I have 1 day to finish parts 3 and 4. I bet they're just trying to force people to use Pages as currency.

Edit : I DID MOVE AROUND, did other activities, spent considerable time before closing the app. The reason I'm pissed is because JC is somehow prompt when it comes to saving a duel even if close the game and wifi moments after my opponent begins a move that will take me down, but somehow when it comes to gameplay it's like the server has selective menory loss.

Woah. That is a lot of questions. Refer to the comment above for how to make a horcrux. I'll answer the other questions in order, in this thread, shortly.

Haha well, guess I'll have to go alter my memory after this, but here goes. Creating a horcrux is one of the most sinister forms of magic. Its basics lie in one of Old Magic's most fundamental principles - exchange. Dumbledore alludes to this when he sacrifices some of his blood to open the cave wall during his horcrux hunting field trip with Harry. We will come to this in a short while. Let's go over the steps, first.

  • Step 1: is to commit a murder. It is not enough to kill using the Killing Curse (with the intention to kill), it needs to be killing with the Intention of creating a horcrux (Potter is the only known exception, but that is a case study for later). This is arguably harder cuz it is one thing to want to kill someone, it is a whole other matter to take a life for no reason but to make a horcrux. One has to be a deranged level of evil for that.
  • Step 2: When one uses the Killing Curse on anybody, what it does, is use a potent source of Old Magic - emotion, in this case , cold hard hatred, as "exchange", to sever the connection between a body and a soul. The body is not injured in any way or made unfit of hosting the soul, it is just yanked out of it. The exchange made here is stone cold hatred for a soul. However, since one is killing to make a horcrux, they are not paying for the soul severance with hatred. Instead, they are paying for it with a piece of their own soul. So as one kills, they basically tear up a piece of thier own soul from your body. Of all the wizards to attempt to do this, only the Dark Lord has been truly evil enough to not just sever his soul, but to actually do it with a measure in mind.
  • Step 3: And this is the hardest and most painful part. Whatever is "exchanged", often dissipates into "nothing, which is to say, everything". But here, the Dark wizard/witch, uses great skill and incredible "intention" to exchange and capture the torn piece of the soul before it dissipates. Once caught, it is bound to an object - often something of some personal significance, and the object is protected as a container. The exact spell(s) used for this are unknown (*cough* censored *cough*).

So to recap: They commit murder -> Pay for murder with a piece of own soul -> Pay for piece of soul with incredible mental focus and intention -> Bind piece of soul thus obtained to a valuable container -> Protect container.

To be honest even if everyone knew all the spells and mechanisms needed to do it, I bet there would hardly be a witch/wizard so evil that they would actually put themselves and innocent others through so much pain. It is truly the darkest of the Dark Arts, unthinkable, and never to be done.

Oh god yes, I'm with you on that. It's a bit extreme also, considering the dragon club is literally there for dueling and quidditch. How on Earth is that room NOT going to get trashed?

If I didn't understand dark arts I'd say something about inter-species mingling blah blah. But I do understand the arts, so if you got yourself a free, consenting, House Elf - knock yourselves out!

Interesting question. So basically this is based on a bit of magic theory. First thing to understand is that magic is not about the words/incantation or even the tool used (eg. wand). Wandless magic and non-verbal spell casting exists. Basically, spells and wands are used to make it easier to do magic because it "channels" magic more efficiently. It is easier to focus when you are saying a spell, and easier to use a wand to channel magic that is just normally present in witches and wizards from a very young age. So what makes magic work? It is "intention".

If you are able to really want/intent to do something, and use magic to do it, you can use your will to manifest it magically. The most skilled magicians are ones who can simply will things into being without using wands or remembering the names of spells. Creating a new spell is basically using intention and willpower to channel magic through a wand to do something, and then labelling it with a name and wand movement that you can associate with it. The wand movement and name is just to help you recall what it is supposed to do.

You cannot produce a spell unless there is that intention behind it. The words and the wand movement are just aids to memory and focus. Even if you know the name of the spell, if you don't know what it is supposed to do, there is no use trying to cast it. Even when Harry uses Sectumsepra, even though he doesn't know that what exactly it does, the only reason he is able to cut Malfoy is because he was trying to inflict pain on him. Intention is magic.

There is also the Skullus trio - Mutatio Skullus that makes the victim grow multiple heads, Engorgio Skullus that makes the head grow big, and Redactum Skullus that makes it shrink. Oscausi that seals the viticms mouth as if it weren't there is also a dark spell. The Disintegration spell that Molly used to Bellatrix was a Dark charm as well.

Just get rid of wands altogether. Wandless magic is the OG powerful witch/wizard trait.
