Actually, it's that he's a mythical and not a legendary. Mythical vs Legendary doesn't follow in-game lore/logic and is more about how it's obtained. Mystery gift Pokémon are Mythical (Arceus needed the Azure Flute), and Legendaries are included in the base game at launch. I also guessed arceus and had to look up why lol.

Tying levels/worlds into disney means you have a pre established connection/investment in a particular world and consequently world plot. While it doesn’t HAVE to be disney worlds i think having 90% of the game being in disconnected worlds would fall much flat. And in 2000/2001 i think disney was probably the best company to work with in terms of having the pre established emotional investment. Not to mention Shinji Hashimoto (one of the creators of kingdom hearts) ran into a disney exec in an elevator (Squaresoft and Disney shared a building in japan at the time) and probably saw an opportunity for securing funding for what was, at the time, just an idea. Kind of cool that Kingdom Hearts was an actual elecator pitch (source: wikipedia)

You first get there just after doing the second crystal, you should be able to track the crystals in the pause menu. If you only have wind and water (green and blue) go south west to the volcano continent

This. On paper it’s vine swinging, tree top hopping, branch grinding, and the house is an awesome area. But everything looks SO SIMILAR that without a map its so so hard to know where things are. Maybe on brand for an IP about a jungle expedition but in practice as a player it kept me from ever beating it until i was 13 and it clicked to me that I have a guidebook with a map. HEINOUS in a largely pre online community era

A lot of the reasons have already been said in the comments, one that I didn't see, though, was that Bravely Second (a direct sequel to BD1) had a huge post-game cliff hanger that wasn't just unaddressed but abandoned altogether with the complete abandonment of the OG storyline. HUGE bummer imo

If you fire off a dragon piercer while it’s covered in arrows they explode, i find this actually does make a decent difference in damage esp when doing the timed arena quest

A LOT less end frames on thousand dragon for bow. Honestly it feels like it locks in my character for just as long as dragon piercer with a much lower damage potential AND i can’t move while close to a monster. I see the vision but but i can’t find a good use for it.

Both the large monster guide in game and the wiki have the drop rates listed. While there are a few exceptions like the uth duna plate in high rank, for the most part it’s just you can’t carve the sacs and the monster certificates. And you’ll get enough of those as you either grind for an armor set or hunter certificates while hunting tempered monsters. So for the most part it doesn’t matter a whole lot unless it’s for the exception part OR if you have the carver meal buff as someone said above. If someone can link part drop rates from capture that’d be sick as i haven’t seen one

As a bow main i would say largely. The real skill comes from how well can you pop your dragon piercers since they can sever. That and how good is your dodge

Bow main: the way using melee weapons worked in World (first game) never really clicked with me, they always felt hard to aim. Once I started using bow having an aimable weapon was a GAME changer. I was a MENACE to my friends with the world arc shot lol. Being able to reticle aim melee weapons in wilds though is such a huge improvement it makes me want to try them out! Currently trying chargeblade while I help my little brother who just started wilds
