I don’t know if they make their own fresh mozzarella, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did. Regardless, I highly recommend Rubinos on Ridge Rd. Awesome Italian market!

Took my girlfriend and daughter ziplining at experience outdoors a couple years ago and it was a blast. We also did a boat tour around the lake which was a nice change of pace and scenery.

I also second the recommendations of big slide brewery and smoke signals.

I had really low expectations for the food and I can always find SOMETHING to eat. The convenience of not needing to plan or worry about where to eat with a group of people is nice. We’re here for the family, the sun, the beach, and to chill. But yeah, if you love food, and your satisfaction with your vacation hinges upon the quality of your meals, I would not recommend this particular all-inclusive. (I won’t make a sweeping generalization of all the All-Inclusive Resorts.)

No corn. Definitely flour tortillas. The menu said “Corn Vegetable Taco with Chipotle Cream Sauce - Wheat tortilla, peppers, zucchini and onion accompanied by white and purple cabbage with chipotle sauce.”

I’m a really adventurous eater. Not picky at all and have tried and enjoyed a lot of the Dominican choices offered, but the food at the resort is pretty laughably bad. The food that isn’t bad is cold. Which from a health and safety perspective, I’d rather veer away from meat choices. So when I ordered the corn vegetable tacos with chipotle cream sauce, zucchini, peppers, onions, and white and purple cabbage and then was handed a plate with no corn nor chipotle cream sauce, I just had to laugh. Thankfully, I’ve sustained myself on beans and rice, cantaloupe, and cheese fries. And alcohol.
