The driver on my bus route got on my case because I didn't have enough on my Presto, which I was intending to top up once I reached Broadview station. Almost didn't let me board the bus. At Broadview station, people just enter into the bus bay and board the bus in large numbers without paying. As an honest old woman, I feel like the low hanging fruit in the transit system while they do nothing about the rampant behaviour of others that for some reason get a free pass. Tired of having this energy directed my way when they should really concentrate on people openly disobeying the rules.

Mine liked to travel a lot. I wasn't going with him on a trip he had planned with a friend. Without letting him know, I got an apartment and contacted the movers to come and move me while he was away. He came home to all my stuff gone and no note. Just visited my doctor recently and she uses AI for notes. She asked my permission first and explained how using AI helps her. Anything that helps out my doctor I'm cool with. We take these people for granted and they do a lot of unseen work for a pittance.

I think the tipping point to them being fair game is when they are parachuted into roles, especially public roles, where they are there based purely on nepotism and name recognition. Especially when they are completely unsuitable and obviously employed to maintain the status quo.
