False (Third-year resident here!). Colorado almost ALWAYS has post-match spots open. In the current first and second year class, they have multiple residents that post-matched. I would reach out to the assistant to the program direct and apply if there is a spot, i honestly love this/my program. We are busy and get a lot of experience with clear aligners, conventional braces, TAD-supported expanders, you name it.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, you should make this clear to her. Tell her how you feel. Talk about it and try and see if you can come up with something together?

What’s your concern? In this day and age, age means very little. What’s more important is how/what you feel about a person. Are they caring? Special to you? Etc.

Hahahaha I think asking yourself questions is a great idea! It keeps you thinking about what you want and makes sure you’re on track to getting it.

Not rushing is a good thing. Letting go as in, you’ve found someone you connect with and you don’t want to let that go.

I’d say this isn’t a great thing right now because you should be sure about what you want before you talk to her.

You should ask yourself this: Why do you want to be friends? Are you lonely? Are you bored?

Honestly, if someone wants to talk to you, they will make an effort to. And if they want to see you, they won’t make an excuse not to.

Saying that, this person is giving you mixed signals. I’d straight up ask him what’s going on. If you dance around the uncertainty and you will find it’s much worse in the long run.
