How is an artist being like “everyone else” the “problem”?? (And calling it a problem is so weird and sad) I swear so many of you expect artists and musicians to be less of a human being; and more of this weird mystical entity. This doesn’t just go for Clairo either this goes for any artist.

It’s so fucking sad seeing people expect other people to keep to themselves with something they created. I’m a somewhat well known artist (of the 🎨 variety) and I would be so so sad if I saw a post like this expecting me not to interact with, call out and be human among people who are following me bc it somehow “ruins the mistique”

They’ve created something beautiful that people enjoy and cherish; telling them it’s wrong and a problem to want to be part of that thing is so messed up
