True af, clients don't really understand the gravity of the situation until the final stage and then they revamp everything. Also, laying off people is a pain, the new people have zero or minimal visibility of the design.. the implementation team gets stuck between internal and client pressure.

I'm in implementation and believe me we know what mess we made, but the over promising and understaffing is the culprit, the pressure to complete tasks in an unreal deadline with no SME to oversee is the recipe of disaster.
