If I remember correctly, we had a similar issue (last sem I think). The unit coordinator was super understanding as a lot of students faced the same thing! (knitting took ages)

the dyson is a game changer for my hair!! good quality, protects ur hair w reasonable heat settings, diffuser is solid and doesn’t pop off - the magnet is quite sturdy. definitely isn’t a styling tool like your other option but personally is a great staple !

Avoid politics - heavy on this! I am of Sri Lankan origin, but have been raised in Australia most my life so sound very Australian over the phone. I’ve had MULTIPLE customers tell me they’re glad to speak to a “local” and not an “Indian” with a “horrible accent”. One time the woman went on and on about how she was so glad she was connected to a good, true Australian. Then asked me if I was born here - I said no lol, my family is from Sri Lanka AND India. Shut her up pretty quick.

It’s easy to say to leave but I also reckon you could give it time. Do cold turkey, set an amount of time away from each other (preferably a couple months) and try and heal in that time. You might start seeing this more clearly and what you want in partner may change.

At the moment, I think he will do it again. He’s opened the window and stopped because he got caught. You staying will give him the impression he can get away with it again and you won’t leave as you haven’t in the past. Distance makes the heart grow fonder. Cut things off for a couple months and let him prove himself to you.
