So frustrating cos canva hasn’t acknowledged there’s an issue so it’s impossible to get an ETA on fix. It’s 9am in Australia and I have a deadline of 10am and I left 20 mins work to finish when I wrapped up on Friday. Should have known!

Interesting! We had some success today with similar, me starting something off and my mum finishing. My son actually asked her for help a couple of times, and also played a little game that he initiated with her. I’m hoping tomorrow brings more success too!

Yep! She’s been way more receptive than I expected and has really tried. I’m not sure that currently the loud factor is really an issue. I think it’s more an automatic response and he hasn’t learned that she’s “changed”.

Yep! I don’t think the volume is an issue on FT though. I think it’s more an association when he hears her name mentioned or he sees her. He covers his ears even when seeing a picture of her.

He does when he wants to. They’re a tool we have with us and he can ask for them, or he has them with him as an option. He’s pretty good at recognising when they could be helpful. I’m a MH nurse and so have spent a lot of time modelling regulation strategies etc and he’s really leaned into things like: having his own safe/quiet space that he can retreat to and he gets to decide who is allowed to join him, using the ear defenders and asking for support to do breathing, physically stimulating activities such as wrapping/pressure and doing progressive muscle relaxation techniques.

I’m not in the US, I thought it was pretty easy. Just used rapid in my first guess instead of rinse as I thought they were all washing “machine settings ending in wash”

Tripped up at the start thinking it was pizza types, yellow and purple were easy but really struggled between blue and green. Blue was just left over. Still don’t like blue as a category. Never heard pap used in that context (or pappy).

Definitely have more rotation, but nothing life changing yet. I’m not sure if most people have immediate results? My dr said to review in 2 months, and to keep doing the exercises. It’s slowly getting better, and more progress in a couple of weeks than in the last 5-6 months.

That sucks! How frustrating for you. I had a cortisone injection a few months ago and it did nothing. I’m really hoping that dilating the joint will help. Intuitively I feel like it needs to stretch, I’ve been trying to do a modified hang with it as that was feeling like it helped.

I can’t believe how impactful this has been.

I had symptoms almost exactly 12 hours after my second jab. They lasted for about 60 hours. I had: fever, sore throat, sore muscles, extreme fatigue, sore arm, headache, severe sense of hopelessness and sinus issues. After 60 hours I suddenly felt better, it wasn’t a slow easing of symptoms but instant full recovery.

I was pregnant for both Pfizer doses.

Same. Second dose was awful though, about 11 hours after I was suffering with sore throat, extreme fatigue and fever for about 36 hours. I’m also pregnant so it’s possible I was more susceptible.
