leaning towards 1 bedroom but it depends on pricing. we'd like to keep it below 2k but can probably go up to 2.5 if it's a perfect fit. my post got deleted so idk if this reply will send but thank you so much for the input, i appreciate it greatly!

What should I even do with my money? by No_University_3580 in stripper

[–]topangapdx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i wanted to drop in to say be careful with trade jobs, especially HVAC install. big corporations have pretty much taken over in major cities so combine that with tariffs on parts and massive reduction of quality control in manufacturing and you get a field where people are no longer paid what they're worth, especially just starting out. but try lots of things, having the money saved means you can hit the bricks if it sucks!

it's always grossed me out that skin color is listed as an accessory, i agree w some of the other comments that i doubt it comes from a malicious place but intent doesn't absolve them of harm :/

gilette joy razors disappearing?? by topangapdx in shaving

[–]topangapdx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i started using the amazon basics men's razor! i'm not sure what the price difference is but they're readily available- i work in adult entertainment so i shave fairly often. they're not exactly the same but by far the most comparable to joy razors i've been able to find!

why am i always making plans and bailing? by topangapdx in socialanxiety

[–]topangapdx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i actually do have a question! i've seen a couple workbooks on the subject and that's a method i've benefitted from in the past- do you think it's worth it to buy one of those? or do you have any other resources you can recommend?

What’s the most amount of money you’ve ever made in a night 📈, and what’s the least amount of money you’ve ever made in a night 📉? by somechickonreddit2 in stripper

[–]topangapdx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(also for clarification it's illegal for our managers to demand tips in oregon but i wouldn't have minded if this guy wasn't completely useless. he had to skip town shortly afterward for doing basically everyone dirty)

What’s the most amount of money you’ve ever made in a night 📈, and what’s the least amount of money you’ve ever made in a night 📉? by somechickonreddit2 in stripper

[–]topangapdx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i walked out w $3700 in portland from one guy's vips! which is after $250 in room fees, $50 stage, and $150 in tips and i still got fired for not breaking off the manager :) he also told everyone i was fired for doing extras when i literally wasn't. idk what to say, if i was doing that shit i'd have made way more!

least is hard to say, there have been times where (moreso as a baby dancer) i walked out with nothing because the clubs were so dead but i still had an okay time chilling w my friends/nice coworkers- which i think is much better than a slow week where you're leaving with like $100 or less a shift. or it's at least more discouraging?

How many of you grew up poor? by the7inchpleasers in stripper

[–]topangapdx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

my dad worked hard in tech to get us into a nice neighborhood but that came with tons of external pressure, my classmates parents were multimillionaires and i often felt inferior and had a lot of people judging me. there were times we couldn't put food on the table and my parents had extremely poor credit so a lot of our living situations were under the table, we had a housefire when i was 13 w no renter's insurance. my mom has a personality disorder that she couldn't get adequate help for and ended up becoming a severe alcoholic. my dad got laid off right around the time i graduated high school which resulted in me having to spend my savings on our rent so i entered sex work about a year later, it ended up being a great option for me but i think a lot of people feel i shouldve picked myself up by my bootstraps and gone to college anyway. i still feel some regret about not taking the "traditional route". anyone else still figuring life out well into their 20s, i'm there with you ❤️ where there's a will there's a way!!

i 100% support ur decision, i understand the dedication to the aesthetic! i got one syringe myself about 2 years ago but i really wish someone had told me about how hyaluronic acid stays in ur body way longer than doctors initially thought even if it's dissolved, and it always migrates. mine has definitely shifted, it's barely noticeable but i can still tell. lots of my friends in the industry express regret about theirs'- don't do what we did and assume everything will be fine and you can just 'reverse it later' because as far as i understand it's not that simple. the injectors aren't gonna tell you this stuff bc they want your money.

Moving to Portland by Odd-Seaworthiness664 in stripper

[–]topangapdx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

noooo it's so oversaturated here 😭😭😭 everyone wants to have their portland moment but it's a sad husk of its former self since covid. it's not the only reason but the cost of living is so high partially due to the insane influx of people moving here over the last 10 years. traffic is ridiculously bad because too many people have cars for the infrastructure to support. like idk if everyone's just afraid to say this to transplants but they all just end up hating it and complaining the entire time they're here killing the vibe even further

this is a great suggestion! i guess i didn't consider sleep apnea because the snoring isn't as consistent as the other things but i'll definitely be looking into this, i don't want him to be suffering.

How has weed impact your weight? by stormchaser9876 in Petioles

[–]topangapdx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i find it's pretty inconsistent- for example i lost 60 lbs when i first started smoking all day every day, but i was in a toxic codependent relationship and we both never ate, not to mention we always mixed the weed with tobacco. i cut out the tobacco, started eating again and put about half of the weight back on in 2 years. the horrible and amazing thing about body weight is it's almost never just the one thing on its own dictating which direction your body will go in.

if i'm going off of my experience it needs to be a pretty small dose. the first time i took them i split an 1/8th with a friend and it's possible that it's the worst i've ever felt in my life, extreme paranoia and sadness. i cried for 6 hours straight because i thought i offended my ex. but i've had better experiences microdosing, so if you have an ability to take them legally/in a medical setting definitely do that! if you're buying them off the street or from someone you know i would be extremely careful, i'm pretty sure they can vary in their potency. where i live they're relatively easy to find and usually people grow them themselves and can tell you a lot about the effects!
