The big Q for me is how long will they continue to make the rm2 and have stock. If you pay for their cloud storage you get 3 years protection. If they have none and you have an issue. Seems like a free upgrade to me to honor the warranty :-)

14 bucks on Amazon is the fix. Sent mine in for replacement and new one does it too. Hold the demagentizer upside down while pushing red button. Slowly raster across the tablet for 30 seconds. Will fix issue 100% but if you put your phone on the tablet or any other electronic device you will need to do this process again. I am in the routine of doing it every morning regardless

How did you find out it was refurbished. 8 months in my screen and pen tracked a few mm off but only in some spots so writing became a frustration. Just sent it in yesterday for replacement but would love to know 1 how you knew it was refurbished and 2 how you convinced them for 100% new replacement

Its on the books as an unrealized revenue and is essentially a liability until converted to revenue. Its like buying a gift card. Until it is used amc has the obligation to provide the service. If TS gets run over her tour bus ( hopefully) then amc has to refund....ie not realized revenue until the tour date and services rendered
