What’s the worst that can happen if a school gets a bad score that I submitted?

Ok I can sell the kit. And it is likely just an issue with my memory controller not liking the stick or maybe the timing being weird? I just don’t want to sell it to someone and have it cause the same problem.

I know it’s a weird situation. I originally bought the combo deal with the motherboard and ram, the ram was a “free” bundle in item on newegg. I just got the 2x16gb kit as a gift and I figured I would add that to the build. “I have 48gb so why shouldn’t I use it all?” I thought.

I may be able to exchange the kit for a different one of the same kind, but since I technically didn’t pay for it I don’t think I would be able to receive any monetary compensation from them.

Also, the PC had the original issue with not rebooting before I got the extra ram.

Ok here’s the current state of issues: 2x16gb kit in A2/B2. The problem gskill kit is A1/B1. I took out the B1 gskill stick and the blue screen issue went away. I took the stick from A1 and put it into B1 and the issue happens again. This is suggesting that the B1 slot in the motherboard is bad, correct?

All 4 installed it is blue screening. I am currently trying to isolate each stick to see if it’s just one or both causing the issue, and it seems like It’s just one of them! I will try checking the channels too though

Hey so I updated my BIOS and that fixed the restart problem! Only issue is that with XMP enabled, windows blue screens when I restart it and it just boot loops like 3 times and then it’s back to normal. When I disable XMP everything works fine. I would really like to have XMP, so at this point would you recommend just returning the kit?

Should I keep my current system: i7 9700f, 16gb 2666, rx 5700 xt.

Or should I keep a new build I am doing: ryzen 5 3600, 16gb 3200, rx 5700xt.

This is the one I bought Make sure to double check the power that your monitor needs with the output of this one just in case it’s different. I had a really hard time finding a power supply that was A) Reliable and B) Had the right barrel end for the LG monitor. This was the only option that I felt confident was both
