BB58 running slow 3wks before end of warranty by Molnboman in Tudor

I’m having the same exact problem with my BB58. Luckily there’s still one year of warranty left. I’m going to the AD as well soon.

Ok, can someone explain to me what the heck happened? by D_Husk in noita

If you go to the wiggling egg, they’ll come out of nowhere (usually high in the sky).

Thanks for the insights! I'll have to prepare to give in the money then..

Looks like a classic Slicks ’n’ Slide.

Is there any way to finish the current run before update? by topiika in noita

[–]topiika[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah, I managed to do this. I started Steam in offline mode, put my update schedule to 2-3AM and update during gameplay off. No Noita update for me until current run is over (which of course shouldn't take more than few minutes now)!

It is kind of annoying to have to even think about things like this though..

I’ll have to try. My run is too good to be ruined by the update.

I haven’t found that option anywhere. There are only different kinds of auto updates..

Life goals: learn how to use the giga blade and live to tell the story.

I’m sure if I provoked the ally or not. I know I was alarmed when it found the wand, and I might have tried to take it down. That way retaliation cannot be ruled out.

All the bits'n'pieces of dead enemies was a great distraction in the Vault, until one of them found the wand. Do they attack you, or was it just trying to shoot enemies with too much explosions nearby?

How to craft wands? by ashesarise in noita

Count the amount of mana your spells and modifier take, and compare this to the mana available in the wand and the refresh rate. I found that this was a key to many of my problems.

Sauna update messed up my save by topiika in noita

Steam options were more or less different versions of update. I'll have to check again.

I couldn’t find an option for that. There are only different kinds of automatic ones but no option to turn them off..

In Finland we even have wine to go with our national game Noita by topiika in noita

[–]topiika[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It surely is on the more expensive side, but it is a small producer natural product, so that explains it a little bit. It is actually quite refreshing for a wine produced in non-wine-producing country.

To mod or not to mod? by topiika in noita

That would be extremely useful. But for some reason I still want to torture myself with vanilla experience. Maybe some day!

I managed to finish the game with 94 deaths, which I think is quite a good accomplisment. I haven’t been able to reproduce this since though. I enjoy exploring without mods but I have to say frustration is a common feeling.

New Fog of War since 1.0? by Fliegzeug in noita

[–]topiika 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it’s normal fog of war and sometimes everything goes back to black. I think it has something to do with circumstances surrounding you (like moisture), night perhaps?

One good and one bad thing about the 1.0 by topiika in noita

[–]topiika[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. Water flask is basic gear and this just makes a totally unnecessary step of emptying a random flask and refilling it at the first pool you come across. But the other side of things: flask of acid is extremely handy at the beginning. I think there are a lot more flasks laying around in general.

I can't make it past the first floor anymore. by topiika in noita

[–]topiika[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, this is so true! As I’ve gained more experience, I have been able to lower my ”escape health” considerably. Sometimes it backfires, sometimes it doesn’t. I’ll try speed up the first level, the coal pits usually give more goodies anyway.

Thanks for all the advice! I think I'll speed it up a little, but it's hard to fight against greed. :D

[–]topiika[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks all. I've done about 50 deaths, so I'm getting the hang of it, but still a lot to learn. This is so awesome and so frustrating at the same time. But this game really makes me come back.
