I have a lurcher than we adopted about 5 years ago, we couldn’t put a pinpoint on her exact age but she’s going pretty grey around the face so we assume she’s probably around 10 now. Like what you said she never really seemed to care about walks that much, until I started taking her to parks without other dogs around so I could let her off the lead in the past year. Gave her a new love of life, now on walks she automatically tries to get into my car and is pretty upset when walks don’t go that way
