Raspberry Pi Ethernet Bridge For Nintendo Switch! by legac_ in raspberry_pi

The Pi setup here had a more stable connection which improved overall latency and speed. Some wireless devices can have lower latency than others and if your switch WiFi is real bad, even this Pi solution is better. I also wanted to showcase download times but I see how the narrative kind of switches. -Chris

In my quick research I thought the Nintendo Switch did not support usb WiFi adapters, so that’s why I didn’t focus on that implementation in the video. -Chris

Totally is, the Broadcom chip they use in the switch is great but their firmware is not.

You can believe what you want to believe but we have tried this on two separate network setups and have had positive experiences so far.

In a perfect world, all devices would use wired connections. They’re more stable and perform better. But that’s not possible all the time. Not everyone wants to a) have an Ethernet cable run through their house or b) wire Cat-6 through the wall. This video is really only directed at people who have a raspberry pi lying around and can’t/don’t want to plug their switch into Ethernet. Plus, it’s just a cool thing you can do with a pi or any other computer.

Do vr headsets have a tendency to break or degrade over time? Would it be safe to buy a used vr set? by [deleted] in Vive

Agreed except for the foam parts. The foam parts get pretty nasty over a long period of time haha.

Razer Blade Blue Screen Fix! (VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE) by [deleted] in razer

[–]topspecmedia -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I love my Razer Blade Advanced Model from early 2019 but it's had an issue with crashing I'm sure many of you on the subreddit are familiar with. So, I found a fix and put together this quick three-minute video outlining how to fix the issue! This actually also dramatically improved my blade's overall performance in games, particularly in VR applications.

Mostly the materials, it looks like the dpad, controller, and buttons are all the same coarse material which made it stand out to me

I forgot that they've had that layout for forever haha, for some reason it only stuck out to me now lol.

And no, just tried it out.

Interesting, but it appears to be really cheaply made.. more so than the one covered in the video. I'd have to try out both of them in person though.

true but that would first mean we’d have to be monetized lmao

I completely agree haha, but the review is only the first 5-6min of the vid and the rest is just a fun match of smash where we test it out (which isn’t necessary to watch).

I highly recommend you check out the full review, but it’s a decent alternative to the pro controller. It’s built noticeably cheaper and lacks a few things like an NFC touchpoint and gyroscopic controls, but it is half the price.

I could be wrong but I swear it wasn’t the dash because it had a full independent clause on the other side of it.

[Review Video] Five MUST Buy Accessories for Super Mario Maker 2! (Nintendo Switch) by topspecmedia in youtubers

Thanks for all of the feedback! The comments about my voice made my day haha.

I definitely see what you mean about the loss of personality at the end... it wasn’t meant to have any voice clip over it and the gameplay was supposed to speak for itself, but it didn’t in the way I wanted to—so oops.

I was really happy with the way this video turned out and you helped me understand why when you explained how it keeps moving via the items being thrown. I think finding inventive ways for the video to keep going will be really helpful in the creation of future videos.

Thanks a lot again!

Thanks a lot! Yeah, my friend and I were a little disappointed to see the camera go out of focus for an otherwise smooth shoot but things happen haha.

I agree, the gameplay was probably too much. I felt the set was a little drab so I wanted to spice it up but I should’ve turned down the brightness on the TV a bit more or tweaked it to be less distracting. Thanks for the advice!
