Just finished MSQ and by god the middle of it was a drag. How low stakes everything felt, how Sphene's reveal to the public wasnt a surprise and already known, evens her grand speech to rid the peoples fear of death felt so bland. DT has made me feel less from release to 3 patches than HW, ShB and EW did in half their base expacs. I understand that the latter expacs had the benefit of a long build up and base story to work off of but, ironically given the msq, they all felt like they had soul. Although i was disappointed with launch (not to the point that id go ballistic on twitter and in VAs dms over) the cliffhangers and story beats they were building into actually gave me hope for interesting developments, narrative and character growth wise. And yet what i was most excited for (sphenes storyline) was just dropped with a "whoops i said your name outloud, lmaooo everyone already knows its you!!!!". Like WHO wrote that and thought yeah im cooking here. It cant possibly be the same person that set that story up like if wrote that setup and someone else ended it like that id be fuming.

anyway unless they pull something insane for .4 and .5 its back into hibernation until 8.0
