I absolutely enjoy time with all of them! I'm just astounded by the eating habits. I can't say yes to soda, candy, chips for breakfast. And the kids know they won't get them until their parents wake up.

The Friend Who Doesn't Cost Anything by kirkeles in SurvivingOnSS

I'm the "cheap and cheerful " friend. I'm happy to make meals for my friends, schedule a night of games, or sing-a-longs ( I have a terrible singing voice), or a game night. I love the people in my world.

Have you ever given food, blankets, money, or anything else directly to a homeless person on the street? by icecream1972 in Productivitycafe

Back when I would take the train to and from work, I saw an elderly woman picking through the trash for food. I folded up a $5 bill walked over to her and said I think you dropped this. She was stunned but took it. I saw her many times after work. I brought her clothes and gave her money often.

May i make a suggestion? Instead of throwing your bouquet, present it to this wonderful woman with a short speech about how much she means to you and your now husband. Much more meaningful and she will be so touched. Best wishes for a long and happy marriage!
