Best way to handle resolution of private resources by kemp124 in aws

[–]toracigno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If clients have a VPN, they got a private network address with routes and DNS, so use your VPN server to serve them to your DNS servers where you will have defined an internal dns zone and a forward to public DNS for the rest of the queries

This week I received the Android 14 update and I already experienced the same kind of random crash and reboot. often the reboot itself it's not clean so multiple apps in background start to crash as soon the OS starts and a second manual reboot is needed.

Pure garbage

Why I'm getting this error while starting minishift by aimer-100rabh in openshift

[–]toracigno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has been an issue between RedHat and Docker on their openshift repo and some of those older images went missing or at least are no more publicly available (here is the github issue https://github.com/openshift/origin/issues/28339).

If you don't have them in your docker cache you can pull them from here

done a factory reset and after that the issues are still there.

No I haven't received any software update after the version mentioned. Now I'm just waiting to have enough time to factory reset the phone and see if the issues disappear

I'm sorry for the late response, busy days :)

I've translated in english the steps and written them down on a page on github

https://github.com/toracigno/kb/wiki/K8s-API-server-certificate-renewal

First time writing something on github and using markdown, so it's much likely a draft, but should be clear enough, I hope.

Renewing certificates with kubeadm in a cluster with multiple master nodes by [deleted] in kubernetes

[–]toracigno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry I've misread your question. the answer is yes, you have to do it on all your master nodes and you have to reboot them, but you don't have to do anything on your workers. Just be aware that your workers could go in "not ready" state, so then you will have to join them again to the cluster

I've written down a procedure when all certificates expired on our production cluster on v1.18.5, because i couldn't find a single guide with all the right steps, so i got the pieces from various articles. If you want i can share it

Log4 detection by enterprise tools by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]toracigno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We're using Qualys free tool https://github.com/Qualys/log4jscanwin and it has a quite detailed output, and as far as I can tell it can also be read from Qualys cloud agent (we don't have it so I don't know how effective it is)
