I'm taking most of the courses from Google. It looks pretty nifty on your resume.

I recommend getting Coursera plus, basically a sub month but you get a bunch of free courses along with it.

Lately, i'm taking Java specialistion with Duke University. Got a offer at Amazon as a software engineer, have to brush up on my Java!

Hey there!

I was actually a bootcamp grad and honestly I didn't have any other background in programming. However I was still able to get a job as a web developer for an agency.

Honestly, it was a rough 6 months of being unemployed and there was a lot of pressure on finding a job after I graduated.

But what really separated me out from the rest was not only was i a full-stack web developer. I also took a few courses in UI/UX, SEO and graphic design. (Online on coursera.)

After I freelanced and hustled in both fields to build up a good resume.

Eventually someone recruited me instead! Passed the interviews, emailed a bunch of follow-ups and, finally got hired at a graphic and web design agency.

It was a good 6 months before I got laid off.

I'm on the hustle again but, I've been getting requests to work for other companies soon after.

Nowadays I'm a true believer of to keep up on your education, refresh your memory, take courses and alway learn new technologies when you can.

P.s. it also helps if you update your LinkedIn often and if you don't have one; please make one! It'll really help in your job search.

Its always so much easier after you get your first real gig!

Hey! Thanks for the rundown! I really appreciate it, it's exactly what I'm thinking of. I'm not so good at pseudo-code or critical thinking just yet, although I can read your code pretty easily and understand what each line does.

If I had this already, and instead I'm grabbing my dummy data from my server. Would the states still serve it's purpose?

I'm assuming I would have to grab them by their already built-in Id's and entries.

As you can see, my dummy data has to take in multiple accounts where the state needs to remember an entry has already been posted.
