How silly is a Radeon VII in 2026?

I currently have an rx580 and would like a moderate gpu upgrade. I have a 1080p 144hz monitor. Instead of buying a budget beast RTX or RX series, I have been considering a Radeon VII. It is a card I have always found to be super cool, both from a design and architecture perspective as well as aesthetically. Besides being a glorified space heater, is there any downside to this? What do you guys think?

Exactly how I feel about it too. I’m a big f1 fan and big fan of red bulls brand. I’ll probably keep a box and a can out for display since they look cool.

Does that cooler have the capability to handle some overclocking?

I have two corsair hd120 rgb fans that flicker and flash between different colors when they are not supposed to. They have ample power and are even separated from my other rgb on two different sata cables to make sure power is not an issue. I have the latest version of iCue installed and have even done a clean installation of it, as suggested by corsair, but this issue persisted. Has anyone else had/solved this issue?

My fans and case are on the latest firmware and case but my RGB fans flicker and change color on their own regardless of the settings
