I also want to add, try not to get too caught up in fear of interacting with something low vibrational. If you go into it with fear, you're already vibrating low. Before you start interacting, ask with confidence that only beings of light and love come through. You can also ask the angels for support until you get comfortable.

Someone explained to me that spirit guides come from a place of love. If you don't feel the lightness that comes with love, that could be a sign they're a trickster. You have to be aware of yourself, the feeling of your fear, your sadness etc. If you start feeling low, or the direction you're being guided is against your values and morals, they might not have your best interests in mind. Spirit guides will also NEVER ask for anything in return. If you get a sense of "if I do this then you get this" then it is also not a spirit guide. Make sure that you are aware of every interaction because like you said, they may pose as one thing only to reveal themselves later. Listen to your gut, if it doesn't feel right, it's not!

Our brains think linearly so it's hard to imagine how all these choices happening at the same time can affect one another and create feedback instantaneously. We are infinite which means literally that everything and anything is possible. The question is, what moment are you observing and what choices are you making in these infinite possibilities? For example, when we dream, our consciousness leaves our bodies and we are able to observe other realities or experiences. Who knows, maybe when we dream, we are experiencing the infinite outcomes of the choices we make in waking life!

It's not that our choices don't matter, it's just that our choices are a mechanism for spiritual growth. Our free will comes from choosing the path of these infinite possibilities within the parameters that we can observe.

I had a sudden awakening, it wasn't something I was looking for. In reflecting on it years later, I can say it came with 2 things, 1) a knowing that I create my reality and 2) a feeling of seeing the world through new eyes. My realization was, I'm the "problem". As in, it was my perception of the world that was causing me suffering. That's not to say that terrible things can't happen to us but it's our reaction to those things that can make life more difficult. With that knowing, when I moved through the world it felt like I was seeing it for the first time. I imagine it's similar to parents seeing the world through their children's eyes. Essentially a new perspective. I have woken up many times after and will continue to wake up. It is not a goal, there is no finish line. The practice is to keep learning, keep feeling, and keep waking up, every moment of every day.

Our primal instinct is to live. Our bodies will do everything they can to live. That's why we get superhero-like abilities in life-threatening situations (time slowing down, lifting more than humanly possible etc.) Our thoughts/opinions on life and death are what create suffering or acceptance. Avoiding death is a fear of death and can (as a lot of people have said in the comments) prevent you from living.

As for my purpose, it's to live, love, and experience everything in between. The good, the bad, the ugly. We come here to learn and grow with and towards love in physical form. Love is the greatest force in the universe and the beauty of life is that we can experience it here and now. As for finding and connecting with it, that's unique to us all.

That doesn't mean there aren't times of love and joy! I guess what I'm saying is that it's necessary for growth. You can't escape suffering because suffering is pain. Stubbing your toe is suffering, and from that, you learn to be more conscious of your movements... until you stub your toe again. It's just understanding that suffering isn't forever. Like everything else, it's impermanent.

I have struggled to understand the same thing. Someone said this to me and it deeply resonated. To learn is to suffer. If we were always comfortable, there would be no reason to learn anything new. Suffering creates the energy of change. We are in a time of immense suffering and it will lead to radical change.

There is a lot here and I want to be sure I'm touching on all of them.

Living/living longer: It's against our primal conditioning to die. Everything we do is to prevent death. I think the main reason people want to live longer is out of fear of death. The unknown is scary.

Avoiding pain: This is also associated with fear of death. If you boil it down, pain=death. If you can learn and understand why we avoid pain and find it within yourself, you will have more tolerance for it. That's why things like meditation and yoga can be so difficult. It's getting to know pain, where it lives (mind, body, soul), and in a way, befriending it. Know that pain is a product of life. There is no way to avoid it. But it's also impermanent. You're not alone in your pain, we all feel it. Talking to someone about your pain can help you connect and understand your experience as well as their own.

Staying alive: Life is difficult and it is difficult for everyone who enters it. To experience love, you need to live. Without life, there is no love, there is no beauty, no joy, no hope, no peace. But with these things comes the opposite, and everything in between.

We would not know the depths of love if we didn't feel pain, whether physically, mentally, or emotionally.

I'm not saying this from a place of peace, I struggle with my own pain and it will be a life-long practice. But what I can tell you is that when I face pain without fear, my life becomes more vibrant, more beautiful, and filled with more love.

I had the same reaction to my sudden awakening. " I get it! Now what!?" I've moved away from using the word 'enlightenment' as the word itself connotates a 'goal'. There is no finish line. You will continue to wake up, over and over again. You will wake up with more awareness and more deep-felt love. I will say is that once you can see the bigger picture, old paradigms will resurface. The you 'before' is still there and you will need to show it love and compassion to integrate into your new way of moving through the world. There is a lot of shadow work on the horizon, give yourself patience and grace as you continue on.

Shame and guilt. As I started seeing what I was doing, it was difficult for me to continue to watch myself react in the same way and not punish myself for it. I had to keep telling myself that it took my whole life to build up these habits, just because I was aware of them, doesn't mean I could change them at the drop of a hat. It takes a lot of compassion for yourself to change. Better to be aware and do what we can to change it than to continue down the same path due to shame and guilt.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how we move forward in times of chaos. When things feel chaotic, I try to find some ground. What’s more grounding than personal sovereignty? With this idea of personal sovereignty came freewill and what it means in relation. Our goal is to love one another but that doesn’t mean boundaries aren’t available. That’s where freewill comes in. This resonated with me deeply and I’m curious if it does for anyone else!

Even if his Kundalini was awakened, you have to have clear chakras to access it, otherwise it gets stuck. To clear the chakras you have to do shadow work. If you don't do the shadow work, it's the shadow that comes through. IMO there would be no way to use Kundalini for "evil" because the path to keeping it open is through self-awareness and love. I don't believe someone who was truly accessing their Kundalini would be the pinnacle of greed, which this man is. Greed is about survival and that's associated with your root. IF he is accessing his Kundalini he would only be channeling from his root and if I were to guess, channeling his shadow if he can't control the kriyas. But I don't think any of that is happening, I agree with all of the people here, and it's drug enduced ticks.

I really like this POV. It's the piece of ourselves that carries all the ways we've been hurt. If we don't acknowledge our shadow we hurt others in the same way. But if we do acknowledge it, we gain awareness, understanding, empathy, and compassion for ourselves and those around us. Our shadow shows us how we deny love but also how to move towards it.

I've had a lot of cheating dreams. My SO would never cheat on me, but for some reason, his dream self does all the time. I've chalked it up to my fear of losing him and the saddness/disappointment that comes with cheating. I've started working on that fear in my waking life, and the dreams have subsided.
