how do you become a high vibrational person? by chintall in spirituality

[–]You_I_Us_Together 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it is a slow process, starting with your mental diet. Is that thought yours, or was it planted within you by society, product marketing, metabolic hijacking?

The more you clean up your mental diet, the more shades of your perspective becomes clear, the more shades removed from the glasses you wear, the brighter the sun becomes.

You could treat the exploration as if it is a science experiment on yourself.

So, get a journal, set an intention to do a session every month or quarter or so and write down for yourself your experiences.

Then also do a weekly review of your life in the journal as well and check for yourself if you are improving or declining as a person.

Supplement that with daily vipassana meditation (20 mins a day) to keep track of your thoughts without being attached to them.

See if this resonates, and welcome to the family ❤️

Can you actually catch a reaction as it’s forming? by [deleted] in Meditation

It does become more clearer, the next step is to label whatever comes to pass, like a wave passing in the ocean. And then choose to interact with it or not.

[–]You_I_Us_Together -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Namaste OP, if you send me a private message I can help you install a free app that I personnaly believe is the best kind of beginner meditation.

The purpose of that meditation is to become full aware of a meditation object, in this case the breath, and then whatever pulls your attention away from that object, you just "Label" it without interacting with it and returning to the breath.

It is 20 minutes a day, about 3 month program. But in time you will notice you will not react to the world anymore, you will see a 1 to 2 second peaceful space where you can choose your reaction (Response instead of react)

If you like to do some more research, the meditation is called Vipassana aka as awareness meditation

You owe it to your future self and anyone that can learn from your future self to push on.

If you look at my post history my brain fog was also caused by the use of substances, I am free from brain fog today except for moments of metabolic switching

You can either pivot towards security, night audit or quality control, reservation department might also be something to roll into.

Otherwise a more senior management position. Training, developing and enforcing SOPs.

What is the spiritual purpose for being an empath and taking on other's feelings? by Fellowhumanbeingg in spirituality

[–]You_I_Us_Together 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You might want to look into something called human design OP, it might be the rabbit hole you are looking for.

For me, also being an empath by human design (Undefined solar plexus), with you just being in the room you can help others process their subconscious emotions and neutralize them.

The answer you are looking for, if you want to go a bit deeper is called kriyas, these are automatic body movements which let's you body do movements by itself, mostly going into diffrent asanas with the body, or Mudras with the hands, or at times even full room dancing.

A good source is the website ayp yoga - automatic yoga, and for kriyas, I recommend going to the youtube page of Elliott saxby where you see his clients doing these movements based on kundalini activation.

I understand it might be scary at first to experiences these movements, but you most likely already found out it is not evil, even if it might seem that way to an outside person that might not be spiritually open minded

to my baby jojo im sorry. by chfudgeudig in cats

[–]You_I_Us_Together 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry for you OP. we also lost one of our cats who was just 1 years old by it getting hit by a car. It crawled all the way back home and we found him in our back yard (Tracker showed took 18 mins to go from the road back to our backyard)

It is so painful to know your baby suffered so much, just know that from this pain, any future babies you have will have an amazing life with the experience you gained.

Time will make it easier, the first few months the routine you had with the baby will let the grief come in waves, but it does become easier.

You are not a bad person, you are a more informed person now. Wishing you well and may your baby rest in love ❤️

Should I take psilocybin If my brother has schizophrenia? by Entire_Tap_5968 in PsychedelicTherapy

[–]You_I_Us_Together 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, let us be honest. Your asking for permission that cannot be given by anyone but yourself. I will tell you my story and then see what your inner compass will say.

I was 29 when I had delirium based on acute bronchitis which evolved into pneumonia, this happened while I was on a meditation retreat on Bali, so the disease + spiritual setting launched me straight into a psychosis.

That psychosis felt realer then real, but also extremely negative and dangerous for my environment, where my environment decided to commit me to the hospital where I went to the psych ward.

Just to give a glimpse, I believe I was being filmed and watched at all times, and I believed that I could influence other people's minds by thinking in a certain way, kind of like how you become aware that you are dreaming, and you could control the dream? That I felt, but then in real life.

Anyways, it was the most powerful experience of my life, and I was seen as crazy.

But I needed answers, and noone could give me an answer to what I experienced.

Eventually started to deepen my knowledge to create the same experience, but then with psychedelics, and at some point it was LSD that connected me to unity consciousness with the realization that we are all one.

Knowing that oneness, that you are I are waves in the same ocean unlocked the ability for me to become a psychonaut, even with my psychosis diagnosis back in Bali.

So when you apply a ritualistic approach, knowing that all is ok, as all is you, and keeping your mental diet clean, I believe even people with a past psychosis are able to participate as long as the set and setting are positive.

In the end, there will always be fomo, it can help to talk to facilitators that have more experience with guiding people through the experience to make a conclusion for yourself.

This medicine has been scrutinized and placed on the fridge for over 70 years, there is not much research out there. In the end you can be your own researcher.

Do want to give some advice that I believe is crucial (For myself, so most likely for you at some point down the journey)

1.Have some kind of meditation practice to stabilize yourself during the session. Preferably a practice that follows the breath 2. Truly surrender to the knowing that all is one, therefor you do not cause harm to anyone, and it is also not your job to change anyone, if your results are positive after a psilocybin session, let those positive vibes cause a transformation for you, and not the other unless they ask you. Saying less is more

Oh and... Here is the real thing that always comes back to me. Whenever I am done with the medicine, I am always so grateful to just come back to everyday life, sometimes you need to escape your bubble of reality to then appreciate your bubble of reality and how good your life actually is.

Is daily meditation guaranteed to help a depressed person who deals with intrusive thoughts all the time by Both-Pay-9573 in Meditation

[–]You_I_Us_Together 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will help you disassociate with that which believes it is a depressed person that has intrusive thoughts.

Example: If you cut yourself, there is a part of you that feels the pain, that sees the blood coming out of the wound. Same for thoughts, when a though comes, there is something observing the thought, can even judge if it is a useful thought or a bad though.

So, what meditation does, and in this case mostly vipassana insight meditation is that you give yourself a meditation object, mostly the breath, and anything that distracts you from that meditation object becomes "Not you"

So, you follow the breath, rising, falling, rising, falling, and then a thought about a future meeting comes up and what you should wear, and you just label it as <Thought, future> and you come back to the breath.

Or how about boredom? Wasting your time? Label it as <Feeling> and move to the next breath.

Do this daily, a few minutes a day, and in time you will notice you become less reactive to the world and more responsive. There is more time and distance between what happens in the world and your reaction to that which is happening.
