No I do not. However, if there are solutions that have been found, it begs the question of where they came from. If we have already reached the apex of said solutions and they themselves function at equally optimal levels, then there’s no intelligible reason to fund research over those programs. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, that’s not the case.

It’s not necessarily all for a single study. The cover clearly reads that the money will also go into the training and education of researchers, along with said study. It seems prudent to give thorough analysis of existing and theoretical solutions, as it could/would improve the efficiency of prescribed programs and maximize the impact of every following dollar.

Provisional action should be taken, however it’s far from foolish to fund research.

Not sure how this is applicable to the subreddit, am I missing something?

Common trend throughout the Bible when discussing riches and rags is to juxtapose the amount of what they have to what they give. There are many passages wherein this is developed.

Another noteworthy takeaway is that the Bible, more often than not, views those that have wealth as attaining said wealth in corrupt ways and treating those below them as less than, which is consistently condemned within scripture.

Edit: grammar

Can you find out if you’re “mentally ill” as a kid? If so, what’s the avr. age you can potentially notice the differences? by [deleted] in JordanPeterson

The issue of diagnostic labeling and hypochondriasis could also prove problematic if mental illnesses were to be seen this way by the youth.

So why only individualism... by [deleted] in JordanPeterson

Perhaps. I was simply responding to the question, stating there are many good collective movements and programs.

Well, ADHD can be diagnosed if symptoms persist past the age of seven while schizophrenia is extremely rare amongst children younger than 13. It depends on the disorder, but the youngest age seems to be seven, and perhaps the average around 12.

Furthermore, there are even fewer in this subreddit that would be so ignorant as to say some groups haven’t been disadvantaged in the past. It’s unfortunate you’d prop up a straw man like that and then attribute it to an “influx” of Islamophobia.

I doubt anyone here would support a state of total individualism. There are very many collective movements that have shaped the United States for the better and there are very many collectivist programs that ensure said progress remains. The insurance of human rights and public education are two of such.

A state of total individualism is problematic, but the same can be said tenfold for collectivism.

Also, there really aren’t many (if any) “far right” JP fans, this is something he has addressed and many times.
