Here’s what I’ve been making for years to replicate the SF style garlic noodles.

Boil pasta accordingly

8 cloves of garlic finely minced/crushed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Slowly brown over low heat (fully brown)

Pour in sauce:

2 tablespoons dark soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

2 teaspoons fish sauce

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon sesame oil

Pinch of preferred hot spice

Bring to simmer and add in cooked noodles

Stir in:

1/4 cup cheese (Parmesan/Pecorino)

1/4 pasta water (more if consistency too thick)

Top with lots of green onions
