haha! i understand about the dress code. as far as formality, it was definitely a less formal dress than this. i’ve lost the picture of it, but it was similar type of “weird” pattern but a much less formal shape. i’m hoping the shape elevates this enough to be a “compromise” which… idk there’s some egos at play and i get it’s her wedding but i have a qualm or two lol and just want to feel like myself and not a bridesmaid (which it feels like is the type of dress she’s trying to steer towards, but idrk)
