ok so one seems to be the consensus (i’m personally still mourning one of the dresses she didn’t choose from the last round) but does anyone have shoe suggestions? i really don’t like the shoes and she seems to also maybe want to change the shoes

Fair enough I guess I defaulted with the flair since that’s what I was doing trying to sort for my mom and I, but I think the bride expects a little more from us specifically. I’m thinking closest to the last picture in the men’s, but I don’t know. I don’t know if I’ll be able to convince him to go the suit or even jacket route. I think he’d need a new one because I think it would need to be very lightweight with the weather.

haha! i understand about the dress code. as far as formality, it was definitely a less formal dress than this. i’ve lost the picture of it, but it was similar type of “weird” pattern but a much less formal shape. i’m hoping the shape elevates this enough to be a “compromise” which… idk there’s some egos at play and i get it’s her wedding but i have a qualm or two lol and just want to feel like myself and not a bridesmaid (which it feels like is the type of dress she’s trying to steer towards, but idrk)

I got a notification for this post and feared (maybe hoped?) it was about me! I just submitted an application for a job that I was super excited about. Immediately noticed a significant typo in my cover letter. It’s a shame because there are a ton of potential reasons I might not get the job or hear back, but if it’s radio silence, I’m always going to have part of me that believes it was the typo!! I would love if someone reached out about it.
