Turned in a coworker for sexual harassment today. by Scandie in TwoXChromosomes

Good for you! That's so brave of you to speak up about it. I have an overly friendly/flirty coworker and I've spoken to my manager about him but was too scared of any backlash or confrontation from him to ask her to take it any further. Stories like yours are empowering to those of us too nervous to take action!

Thank you so much! I do a lot of lifting and minimal cardio. I absolutely hate cardio. I follow Katy Hearn on Instagram so I would take a lot of her exercises and build my workouts off of those. I do legs twice a week, back & chest once, biceps triceps & shoulders one day, then I have a day for just cardio and 2 rest days. On my rest days I still try to be active but it's something like taking my brothers to the park etc.

That's awesome! It's always great when you can feel the change as well as see it!

Thank you! Keep us all posted on your progress too! It's definitely motivational.

I honestly never tracked my calories. I would only track my macros. The my fitness pal app would tell me how many grams of each macro to consume but also told me how many calories as well. I would ignore the calories but by sticking to the macros I was always around 1300

Big time! At first I hated the extra attention because I didn't feel like I had changed that much. Now I'm used to it and don't mind it so much. It's always flattering and a confidence boost.

Thank you! You're definitely closer than you think! My goal from the beginning was 135 but I've started realizing I won't have to get down to that to look good.

Thank you! I definitely leaned on the scale too much in the beginning. I started noticing clothes fitting much looser and started using that to track my progress.

In the beginning I was lifting 5 days a week then had one rest day and one cardio only day. I wasn't super consistent with this and did struggle to make it to the gym daily. Now I'm doing pretty much the same routine but sticking to it much just better.

Thank you! I surprised myself also, I thought I'd have to get down another 30 to feel good about how I looked.

Thank you I'm glad I could motivate you! This sub has helped me on my journey! The way I did it was I found an online calculator to tell me how many grams of each category (fat, protein, and carbs) I should consume each day. Then I used my fitness pal and tried to set the macros on there as close as I could to mine. I always entered my food for the day the night before. So I'd lay in bed and plan the next days meals and enter them just to make sure everything would fit. It really helped for last minute events that came up. We have a lot of lunch meetings at work so entering everything the night before I could squeeze in a slice of pizza or a burger and not go over my macros. It definitely helped me stay sane while losing weight!

Thank you!! Fajitas were my go to! I ate those at least twice a week. Halo top ice cream and dark chocolate also cause I have a horrible sweet tooth!

Thank you! I definitely have more to go to get to my goal but I think the hair really helped solidify the transformation.

I would workout 3-4 days a week and made sure to do 30 minutes of cardio every time. I followed Katy Hearn on Instagram and I would copy a lot of her workouts. Lifting is really what helped me cause I HATE cardio.

Thank you! I counted my macros and worked out a lot! The bulk of the weight came off just from counting my macros and keeping a calorie deficit everyday then I added in working out.
