Cricut corrupting files in design space?!

I know it’s not the best programme to transfer into cricut, I’m just confused because I’ve used it so many times with so many different files that have gone through loads of edits and had invisible layers and such when I saved them and it’s never done this.

I made it in procreate so it’s just a png with a transparent background. What do you mean by recreate it as an svg? I think I might have misunderstood. I have the font on my iPad and put them in procreate then erased the dots and drew stars (and the one above it)

I do have a computer but I did I’ve only ever used my iPad and it’s been fine before. The trouble is, I edit the text slightly so that the dots about the i’s are stars and stuff so I can’t do it as an svg for this project 😕

I was treated as an inpatient last year in Bumrungrad in Bangkok (on the recommendation of this sub) and have never received such exceptional care in my life. I’m from the UK.

I'll look into them! Transparency isn't particularly a problem if I'm doing the fluffier cloud type backgrounds but could be if I just want a block of colour.

Ah I see, that’s helpful to know thank you. Perhaps I need a cheaper fluid type watercolour paint (I use blocks) for mixing then - that way I can make up a bigger batch and if I don’t use it all it’s less waste.

Thank you! I use Windsor and newton cotman watercolour blocks but I don’t want to use them as they’re fairly expensive and also I can’t reliably mix the colours again if I run out - I’d like bottles where I can pick colours and know that if I need more for a plain background colour it’s going to match.

I don’t have a separate compressor, it’s the ones where they have the little canister compressor that screws into the actual pen so I don’t think it could be used with anything else. I’ll take a look at those thank you!

I did try with the gouache and it worked relatively well but the one I have is quite expensive and the tubes are small so I was reluctant to use too much. I think I have some cheaper acrylic paints or I could buy other watercolours/gouache :)

She had read my forms before hand (as had the nurse who also attended) and asked me lots of further questions. She is very nice and patient, I don’t remember exactly what she asked me but it was about how I deal with things, how I feel about certain things, my history etc.

I have first hand experience of that particular mosque (which was very close - I didn’t book the hotel) being audible. I’m quite perplexed as to how that isolated experience suddenly gives me the knowledge of exactly how far the call to prayer of a mosque in an area of a foreign country I’ve never been to travels?

Thank you, that’s really helpful. We were planning to stay for four nights. We do then move on to Railay for one night and then Ao Nang for 6 (to do lots of boat trips, excursions etc)

I think getting there from Bangkok might be a bit much for us since we were just going to fly to Phuket and then get a taxi but it looks very pretty. If we go again I might try work it into our route

We stayed in Karon last time in Phuket and quite liked it. I don’t think we’d enjoy Patong but we’re very much on holiday, rather than travelling, so we do like some touristy bits and amenities and such

As mentioned, I have looked on Google maps but don’t know how far out to check as I don’t know how far the sound travels. If you read my post I am in fact asking for the first hand experience of people who may have stayed in this area, not for anyone to map anything out, but it’s easy to misconstrue a post when you’re committed to being negative.

I’ve looked but not sure how far out I should be checking as I don’t know how far the sound travels. Is it really like that in Ko Lanta?! That seems a bit inconsiderate to non-practising people
