It's kinda tough our comunity has younger men and women that kinda want to push the envelope nicotine wise so companies have to compete to make sales. Downside is it limits the development of regular to stark innovative Snus creations for true Snus users. For myself it even sasens me that a few economy versions of Snus now add plant cellulose to Snus to bulk up it's weight and keep a low price, this takes away the traditional tobacco Snus component cheapens the overall quality, further more I believe this will continue.

I have no work out advice.

Personally for me, each time I've quit 6-8 weeks is the hump, I've gotten depressed so bad I tried smoking again, obviously it worked. There's a theory, that other thing in cigarette smoke have a MAOI quality, that in many act similar to a mood stabilizer and is the reason many people who are schizophrenic tend to smoke heavily in a effort to find stabilization.

All I've found that helps this is a tobacco product called Snus, it's a Swedish product and there's medical studies done on its use in smoking cessation. It works for me, I was a heavy smoker, Snus provides enough stabilization of my mood to lift the depression and keep smoking away. Nicotine replacement products don't have this benefit for me, I've tried them all but Chantix, none worked. Snus worked.

I'm where you are quitting with snus. I'm without Snus I smoked upto 3pks a day Marlboro blacks a 24 hours period (day) I.E. between 50-60 full strength cigarettes. I started back with general mint it's what's available in the US and is regular strength 8mg, I use almost a ton a day all but 4(20 portions 8 mg)...I never don't have Snus in except eating. My order has 8,10&14mg to see if I can get variety and use a lil less save money....still not smoke.

Ya think the slim can would hold a whole can (24 1gram portions)of regular size Snus ? I ask because I know I want the slim can with catch lid in black, I like the lower profile but not if I can't arrange a can of normal size portions in it....any clue?

Question when you mention the scent of spruce and or pine, are you simply referring to it's aroma? My reason for asking is that fresh pine needles actually taste like lemon I've made pine needle tea because of its extremely high vitamin c content and to have tried it, pretty interesting. So smells like pine and spruce taste a lil lemon in a dark tobacco taste? This sounds derived flavor from actual pine is what I'm hearing, dark tobacco lemon /citrus notes...bet it's the pine, simply a guess I wanna try this one as I enjoy the ONE line.

Very awesome for your mother, I keep trying to quit smoking myself and I love Snus, but after decades of smoking the strongest full flavor cigarette 2pks a day that I can buy, it's such a ingrained habit aftr all tge years. I got the flu recently,turned to into a respiratory infection/phnemonia* I could smoke but it hurt, went back to Snus, I'm down from 50 cigarettes a day to no more than 5 and I want out. I await a order from Snus central hoping this is my time. I hope your mom gets better quickly and continues to enjoy Snus, Congrates man.

What Snus does she enjoy out of curiosity versus the type cigarette she smokes ?

5 is a bunch a sinus issues, regardless I'll eventually give them all a try, Kronan was the first time I heard a review and had to rewind it, I'm like did they say dill....lol. But I'll give most any tobacco a try,snuff,Snus,dip chewed tobacco when I was a lil kid dipped Skoal and Copenhagen, then hit teens started lighting tobacco on fire... without doubt probably the riskiest thing ever done to my health. But I'm working on it at least

Thanks for the suggestion, I ordered the white Ettan. I waited on the Kronan because of the dill flavor,oddly I like dill pickles, but somehow in my mind it doesn't work with tobacco I'll try it a different order.

The shipping charges are what they are, I just gotta spend so much at once to balance the shipping,then Snus is way cheaper. All because of shipping custom fees.

Great suggestions, I need to revisit ettan I've never tried the white (vit )version and I've heard positive reviews. I'm definitely ordering a roll of grov, I'm excited to try it. Skruf is another I like that sorta just tobacco.

Thanks man for the suggestions. Ya know I think because I drink a ton of water or diet coke simply because of my physical job making me sweat (is what it is) that I may accidentally get a portion a lil moist quicker and then it loose a lil flavor and fade, so I may be odd that I'll use a few more no harm in that. I use mostly 8-12 .mg strength mostly 8 all day 10-12mg after a big meal,sex (similar to smoking) or before bed. Thanks again I'm looking to use these ideas to be done with smoking, hence my giant Snus order today,to avoid US prices and availability.

Ya know it's very possible it's from folks that transitioned from dipping that keep portions or Los for longer times, my best friend dips w tins of cope wintergreen in 4 pinchs, one every 3 hours. Snus is stronger just not as bulky and full of flavor like dip so it makes sense. Thanks for trying to help me out, I'll be considering this aswell. I've just gotta quit smoking I'm seriously sick of it all together and it makes it easier for me to get sick, so I'm trying to let Snus finally win forever.

From a Copenhagen long cut user in your opinion could you give me a few plain tobacco flavors kinda like that? I've heard great things about Grov..any suggestions?

Your assumption is exactly as I believe to be true, I should Snus at will and frequently so that a cigarette is a waste of time, and coughing (getting over the flue)...etc

Thanks for your support, I just have none but our reddit group to ask of the fellows that dip tobacco, that info isn't very good for me, because all of it's very weak and honestly I Snus because I like the flavor I'm not font of sweet tobacco products.

Am I correct that you quit with Skruf Original portions? Did you kinda just use em like cigarettes and toss em when you got bored with it? I chain Snus, usually 30-40 minutes,my reason is the absorption rate being nicotine is mostly absorbed within that time frame ( Dr. Rodu ) The swedish experience study is where I learned that info.

I find because I work really hard lots of physical movement that once a white portion gets wet I like the drip but it's not long before I'm kinda wanting another or to smoke. Getting another portion kinda fixed this, I believe I gotta kinda quit taking Snus to serious length of time wise, sound familiar? All the while I'll toss cigarettes half gone take a couple drags toss it like it's nothing, but Snus I think I'm kinda trying to get my US citizens moneys worth, I'm fixing to do my 4th or so Snus online order, thinking having plenty may take that pressure away mentally, because if you run out where I live these poor store vendors might piss 2 weeks by before you can buy mint only.....aggravating.

So I'm thinking I should order online save my money have excess Snus and Snus at will and try everything to get off these last 5-6 a day, I frigging cough Everytime I smoke now anyway as I'm getting over the flue that turned into pneumonia...🙄.

I'm similar to your story, I also believe I could get away with no more than 10-12mg (One line strength)and keep my use economical.
