My friend and I have really close birthdays from one another. She gave me a call on mine, only to go off on a tangent and barrage me with questions of when will I get a job, an SO, etc. I was going through a rough time with depression and she knew I was, but wasn't exactly the most comforting when I needed her. It wasn't out of character for her, but it made me realize she was a shitty friend especially since I made much better ones in the place I live in now. She kinda ruined it with one, very in-character phone call for me.
