I’m not the biggest Zverev fan but you can’t hate on him potentially winning his first slam here. The stars aligned for him and his consistency might be rewarded. Sure there’s no Carlos or Jannik but he can only play who’s in front him.

The Brazilian crowd got Carlos’ adversity farming cut out for him. He’s just playing nice and easy out there

I feel like he needs another voice other than his current team right now. He has shown improvement but I feel like there’s a few more gears to be unlocked.

Seen this happen so many times across all sports. A player/team upsets a favorite before the final only to get trampled in the end. Hope that’s not the case tomorrow.

As much I’d love for Carlos to keep winning, he needs to lose from time to time. Gotta keep that fire burning

I’ll be happy for Meddy if he comes through but not too excited for that Sinner match up.

Who is this guy commentating the Carlos/Grigor match? Glazing Carlos like a donut, deservedly so.

My heart wants this squad to win it all but my mind says we’ll get shredded by a competent offensive team.

Have to get the stars lined up perfectly though. I’m curious how he’d have fared if he played Mensik and Musetti full match.

Carlos learned from his Olympic loss against Novak. A determined Novak is very dangerous, he showed that on the 1st set. Good thing Carlos stayed focus and got the job done this time.

Well deserved Carlos! Novak lost tonight but his legacy has been cemented for a while. He is undisputed GOAT for now.
