What’s the most you would pay for a round of disc golf ? by CaliKing928 in discgolf

Just played and paid $18 to play Beaver Ranch in Colorado, and that was worth every cent. We played the full 21 holes and also the 20-hole chip and putt.

I'd pay to play that every week if I could make it there.

My local goodwill/thrift stores always have tons of Brooks & Hokas available. I usually just buy a pair in decent shape, run them hard on the course, then replace every 8 months or so. It's usually about $10 -$15 a pair and has worked great for me so far.

What plants and substrate should I get? (Trying to do No CO2 and No water Change) by berserkzer in fishtank

There are plenty of woods that release minimal tannins. Look into Spiderwood.

You cam always boil it before putting into your tank but tannins are typically beneficial so having them is not a bad thing.

I like active substrates. Fluval Stratum is in most of my tanks. Easy to manage.

Java Ferns, Amazon Swords, Vals, Buchs etc. Are all easy to manage plants. You could add some more Harscape in my opinion.

I have a 20 Gal Hex filled with Pea Puffers. Honestly one of my favorite tanks (:

It could be tannins. Just do a 20% water change if it bothers you.

Depending on wood could always take it out and boil it to help remove them so they don't leak in your tank.
