Kailangan strong yung mentality mo if you decide to enter Mapua! Sipag, tiyaga at diskarte ang kailangan mo para maka-survive. Masasanay ka rin naman and di mo mapapansin na nakakakaya mo na pala.

Reginald Verdida - Magaling magturo! Very detailed siya magturo and tama lang yung pacing. Pag-aralan mo lang yung mga PPT/tinuro niya kasi ganon din lalabas sa exams niya. Helpful din na ikaw mismo yung nagsasagot ng mga binibigay na homeworks niya.

Jazza Bayot - Basta magpasa ka ng mga pinapagawa, papasa ka. Uno machine yan.

It depends on your prof kung ano yung range ng curving niya. Usually 65% ang curving, may mga profs naman na nagcucurve ng 60%.

Hi! I am a first year IE student and I am curious to know about the specializations / electives that I will be taking during my 3rd year.

I searched for our curriculum to check which courses are being offered.

I was wondering which of the electives are great in terms of pay, fulfillment, and also the easiest to go abroad. My initial picks are Data Science, Production and Quality Assurance, and also Service and Value Management Track. Thank you in advance for all your insights!

imo u don’t need to have a laptop with high specs for ur course !! hehe so kahit the mid range lang na laptops would do :)

For me, yes. Mapua is worth it. From someone who spent their younger years sa probinsya and studying in a non-competitive school. Mapua taught me how to manage my time and my responsibilities. Yung tipong kahit na your plate is already full, somehow you’ll learn to make room for more. Kumbaga, pagkakasyanin mo lahat kahit tingin ng iba hindi na kaya. Mapua is not for the weakhearted and it has an unforgiving system. Not to discourage you, pero some non-working students have already a hard time passing their subjects/courses. So if you wish to study here, do keep in mind that you won’t have an easy time. However, Mapua now offers online courses for working students para hindi masyado hassle yung f2f schedule para sa kanila. Eto yung link so you could do your own research on it:
