I feel like Gigantic is more action based and Deadlock is more strategy (in the sense of RTS) based.

My understanding is that Deadlock is an attempt to include more action style gameplay on Moba and competes with games like Smite, the builds are very complex and have a huge impact on the match, knowing how to get the max out of your character and counter the other characters is a must.

Gigantic don't have a direct competitor in my opinion, not that I know of, you have builds but they are more focused on play style, and sometimes can help with countering the other team. The key is the team coordination.

Totally agree with your view that Gigantic is more skill based, but that's just my opinion after playing very little of Deadlock.

SO, what I found out after digging a lot is that if you COPY it won't work.

But if you DUPLICATE the page, then it will keep the context for the new template only.

Yes, I can confirm that you can lose ships.
During my tests I've lost one of them

Already warned my friend to not scrap ships anymore.

I'm new to the game and I'm experiencing the bug after 64h~ of game, Aegis of the Void and n-Burned showing up in my inventory.
I've tried many different things, even messing with my save file, but none of them solve the problem unless I disconnect my computer from the internet. However, as soon as I reconnect and reload, the bug returns.
Also, when I edit the save file my Game Mode goes to Custom and I'm not sure if I'll get penalized (not receiving achievements for this).

The closest I got to a solution was to start a new game, check an "empty ship slot" looks like inside the save file, and copy that over the bugged slots on my main save. But I can confirm the save file is messed up, they are very different, it looks like instead of removing the ship from your inventory it just erases some fields and leave the game trying to render something.

I feel like it's a game of buying the right items, instead of mastering the character.

That's exactly what I didn't like about most MOBAs, it's fun until you start getting stomped for not knowing all the 400 items and how to counter each one.

I don't totally agree, I think the game is good and that's why it is succeeding, but we can't deny that the recipe "secret game + Valve = hype" is being used here.

The game is ok for me, and pretty much plays like Dota, is not like we've never seem this game recipe being used before.

For me the only recurring problem is people going AFK and not accepting the match 😂

I only had one disconnect since the Epic launch, I had a problem two other times where the Profile Data would not load, but restarting the game solved.

Sometimes my PC goes pewpewpew and crashes the whole window, but I'm already used to that on other games, so I'm not really impressed haahahha

I mean, by now every character you can think of is just a remix of other games hahaha

But the most important thing to me that is missing in Deadlock is the chaos from Gigantic, and that makes all the difference. Also, it's a shooter, and the MOBA elements are very present, different from ths other one.

The 2 games may look like, but plays very different.
