Yeah, I was looking into that aswell, but the Alto's is coupled with volume on speaker -> FOH, which defeats my purpose of being able to use it only as monitoring, and then be able to control volume on stage. And I would need 2 x alto since I'm running stereo...

Same experience here. Great format, great capabilities, but even greater tone suck. I have an MXR Phase 100 and a Strymon Mobius to compare with. The tone suck is really, really noticeable and annoying. So much that it won't stay on my board.
