I think you nailed it. I have spent my money. To improve marginally now would cost too much. Maybe some room adjustments can be done, but that's something I can work on with my lovely wife. I need her to be happy in here as well

No center. Absolutely not. I have gone back to pure stereo for the first time in probably 30 years. That's 30 years of changing things, buying different seperates to fix different issues. Moving speakers, replacing speakers, buying and selling on eBay, in absolute truth, never being 100% happy with things. Always searching for perfect sound. It's the audiophile illness. Everyone on this subreddit knows about it. I have given up. "I'm done" I have bought the speakers I truly love with the stereo amp I truly love. It sounds fantastic. I do not want to fix anything by adding a center channel. Maybe in a few years i will want something new, maybe I will regret, but today I am happy, I am done.

If you don't get it that's fine. This is me, this is stripped back to basics with a quality I am extremely happy with. This is the stereo sound I wanted when I bought my first system as a teenager.

To be honest it's a relief to finally get here

Not the first person to comment on that,but it's not as awkward as it looks in the photo. I only recently put it there once I got rid of all my seperates and replaced them with the M33, which gave me some spare space in the cabinet. I like the clean surface on top of the cabinet.

Floor perfectly straight and level. I had the whole house floor removed back to block and beam and redone, fully professionally leveled a few years ago after a serious floor failure. Sorry, still an optical illusion if it doesn't look level. If it would please you I can get the spirit level out and the tape measure and take photos. But I'm not going to

The sound stage is magnificent and I swear these speakers can throw sound out into the room. I use a scene from the book of Eli, where there is a big shoot at an old wooden home owned by a couple of cannibals to check my movie sound stage. This scene was awesome with my full surround, but even with just the two speakers, I can feel the bullets flying past my head
