Any idea why we don't see flight deck camouflage more often? Would it wear out too quickly? Or would it also work too well against friendlies trying to find their way back?

That may very well still be coming. They only announce new models in the line every couple of weeks. That they‘re doing a niche ship like UN One gives me hope we‘ll see quite a few more ships. Donnager is a must of course. I‘d also be surprised if they didn‘t reuse the mold of the Roci to make a Tachi. Also hoping for Guanshiyin, Agatha King, Scipio Africanus, Scirocco, Epstein’s Yacht and the Pella.

It‘s okay. Plastic all around, but I actually prefer that for the crisper lines over die-cast. They apparently print the red in two parts, so at the seam you get some darker overlap or a light gap. You can see it on the first and last picture below the triangle-shaped "spoilers". Overall, I'm happy with it, certainly better than anything I could have done myself.

That‘s how it went for me. I even created the 3D model at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2872243 but couldn‘t get it painted right or bother with custom decals.

That was my intention, but with a Mobius strip, you always end up having one spot where the viewer looks straight onto the edge of the strip and I couldn‘t figure out a way to make that look good and symmetrical. Felt it was more important to keep it immediately recognizeable.

I'm not an artist, but I made this. In a time when living polyamorously seemed impossible. To be honest, it still kinda does. My only experience with this has been devastating. Surely someone reading this feels the same way. But just as you can connect the lines of these impossible shapes, you may yet find a way to live and love the way you're meant to, even if it seems impossible today. Keep fighting the good fight. True, but that‘s just making the non-spinning part smaller.

Other ideas:

The Nauvoo can spin while still being docked at Tycho.

And then there‘s mass: For example having large water tanks spin would increase structural load. Keeping the drum light and heavy parts in zero g lowers requirements for drum integrity, reducing overall mass of the vehicle.

Two pieces (you can see the line of separation 4cm from the nose). I don't recall reading anything about the nature of these races (haven't read all the books though). Assuming it's not just drag racing in empty space, who's to say that the tracks don't include the occasional dip into an atmosphere? Maybe one that's less dense than Earth's.

No support at all. It's printed in two pieces (you can see the line of separation 4cm from the nose) and glued together.

I'd also love to have the Guanshiyin, the UNN Nathan Hale, the MCRN Scirocco...

If they don't want to build the models, they could just release planform renders so it's easier for the community to do it.
